Parking was cheap but a little hard to find a spot later in the day. Go early to avoid crowds. The bathrooms were pretty clean and the beach was immaculate. Cliffs surrounding the area, rock formations on the beach, and plenty of space to explore made this beach an enjoyable experience.

The only beach I know of in the area with a few fire pits. Full moon nights bring loads of locals & a drum circle. Nice beach for kids & families too.

I think it was just a bad time to visit this beach as the waves were dangerous with a strong rip current. Lifeguard told everyone to stay out. But on a good day, I can see the appeal: parking, playground, places to buy food, and bathrooms. The lifeguard told us this beach is more for skimming and not one of... More

This is an easy beach to get to (compared to some other Laguna Beaches) because it has parking and no steps. Also a playground for the kids is a plus. We went when the tide was high and the water was really rough. They ended up putting up a red flag so we walked down to Treasure Island Beach. On... More

Great for boogie boarders and skim surfers. Tough on body surfers and snorkelers. Too many baseball and soccer ball size rocks rolling in the surf. Wife is not experienced in heavy surf and she got banged up. Litle kids were getting beat up by the rock a bit. Pretty to look at though.

Went to a Aliso Beach Park on a Saturday morning with my family. Pretty beach, low hassle, easy parking and not overly crowded. The surf was a little rough for younger children but fun for older children/adults. This is my favorite beach for the south Laguna/Dana Point area.

Went with family and a good time however there isn't much of a beach to put your stuff on , the waves break pretty much on shore and some were so strong the knocked a 250 lb man down and it was a lot of work with little ones who liked the water but it was much too strong to... More

Plenty of parking and a nice little park and playground for the little ones. The scenery was very beautiful and we enjoyed a fantastic sunset here. A short walk to some tide pools and cool rock formations. Would not go out in the water too far as the waves were pretty large and rough.

A great beach for sunning and swimming near one of my favorites at Monarch Beach. There is a fee for parking which is paid at a kiosk on the honor system.

Very Beautiful and Scenic with Tables for a Picnic, yet a Bit Steep with a strong under tow for swimmers...Good of Body surfers...The water is prone to sewage run off at times...So I have often had to pass it bye...
