This place is a perfect little beach for families with small children. The parking on the street outside the beach is free, restrooms are close by, a good sized play park is on site, and the waves are not too big or dangerous for little children. We even saw a whale swimming just off the shore!

Wonderful place to lay in the sun & enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Huge waves so not always good for swimming but saw people having a great time with their boogie boards. Loved it!

Quiet place to watch a Sunset. Plenty of Benches, even a few fire pits on the beach to enjoy with it for hours.

Adequate parking at beach level, clean, good public restrooms, fire-pits: this is the easiest beach to enjoy in all of Laguna Beach.

Beautiful beach with lots of parking, playground and restrooms. We were there the beginning of November and parking lot was almost empty. The cliffs and rocks make for beautiful backdrop. Waves were very rough and would not recommend for small children, or big for that matter. We didn't mind, water was cold. We were there for the view, and it... More

Great beach, easy to get to with lots of parking. The beach is dog friendly and popular with surfers. One word of caution, the sand running into the sea is a little steep and the waves break violently. I would keep you children out of the sea or accompany them at all times.

Driving down Hwy 1 from Newport Beach to Dana Point. We stopped off here on a Sunday afternoon. Easy to access with a parking lot and bathrooms. The beach was active but not overcrowded. Surfers were enjoying the waves, and it was a great place to walk along and let the waves wash over you or your feet.

I absolutely loved Aliso Beach!! During my trip to the Dana Point/Laguna Beach area, I visited about 10 Beaches (Del Mar, Victoria Beach, Main Beach, Newport Beach, Baby Beach, Salt Creek Beach, etc.) Aliso Beach is exactly what I pictured a CA beach to be...Aqua waters, some rocky coast lines, but white soft sands. It most resemble the beaches you... More

Aliso Beach is located on the south side of Laguna Beach. This is the only beach in town with actual parking lot.
