Very nice spa. Had a facial one day and a massage the next. Small but nice. For a spa, they were a bit stingy on the water. Very nice spa gift shop. Giving 5 stars because I forgot to use the 10% off coupon from the front desk when I paid, and the spa credited my account the next day.

This is my 3rd review about Surf & Sand magical spot because every staff member I’ve met here has been more exceptional. I’m always blown away by the smooth, brilliant, professional operation as they are all performed by beautiful, kind & happy spirit. They always go above & beyond. Easton who is a manager of outdoor facilities including pool & beach always has my back when ocean reaches the walls. He has saved our personal item in utmost joy. I feel so grateful to everyone here for making long lasting memories not only for me but my precious families. My daughters have been also blown away by everyone’s kindness. Tyler you too have been one of a kind 🙏💖💜

Yesterday while relaxing in the spa at Surf and Sand Resort $550 was stolen from my locker. Upon completion of my massage I went to pay for both my massage as well as my girlfriends (close to $400) and noticed the cash was missing. I notified the spa who called security who told me I could file a police report. However after realizing that only a few people were in the spa at the same time we narrowed it down that the suspect had a “day pass” to use the steam room, jacuzzi and shower. To get a day pass the spa told me all that is required is a name and phone number. NO IDENTIFICATION OF ANY TYPE. They also stated they saw the suspect leave through an employee side gate during the time I was in the spa. Filing a police report would have been a waste of my last night since the suspect clearly did not use his real name or phone number when he had intent to steal from people in the spa locker room.

The hotel claimed no responsibility because it happened in the spa and not in my room. The spa is attached to the hotel gym.

I did not want to complain about this experience because the view from the hotel and the overall vacation was very enjoyable. However I think for the cost of this resort that they should stand behind their customers.

This is the second year in a row that we decided to travel from Virginia to stay at this resort for our anniversary and sad to say it will be our last.

Small spa in the Surf and Sand Resort. Rather small compared to other spas I have
Been to. They have a small woman’s area with a steam room and hot tub and a unisex lounge area where you wait for your treatment . I had a deep tissue masssge with a male therapist and he did a great job

I booked a massage and pedicure at Aquaterra spa while on vacation. The price was more than I am used to paying but I wanted to relax on vacation. I booked their spring special which was an 80 min dry exfoliation, full body massage and scalp massage. Oh.my.goodness. I have never enjoyed a treatment like this one. The entire treatment was amazing, plus the spa itself was beautiful. I even sat in the private jacuzzi for 30 min before which made it even better. The pedicure was an hour long and the treatment specialist was so friendly and really took care if me. Overall, one of the best experiences I've had for a soap day. I would highly recommend this place!

Had my third massage here in the last 6 months. I make it a point to make an appt everytime I am in town. Get the deep tissue massage from Brielle. I’m not sure but I think Brielle is Greek for Goddess of Massage...

I love this spa! The staff are always friendly and helpful and the massage was completely relaxing and Annette worked all my sore muscles. I've had Michelle before and she was wonderful as well!!!

The spa at the Surf & Sand Resort is very nice and offered great services including an air conditioned facility unlike the resort itself. The spa staff were very nice and the treatments received were excellent. The only thing I noticed is that the facility seemed to be a bit short staffed as the same people at the front desk were also working in the spa itself and sometimes the lockers and shower facilities were not kept up with. Still a good place to relax and be pampered.

We were one of two couples spending the day at the spa/hotel for services and lunch. During the booking process, we were given three different stories as it relates to accessibility to the pool and beach if we are spa guests. Turns out the real answer is, it is at their discretion.

Upon arrival and check in, we were given keys to the spa/pool area and shown to the locker room. Very nice and clean facility but a bit on the small side. Since both couples were doing the couples massage and soak, we were 2nd so went to the pool to wait for 2 hours before the treatments. Once settled in to some chairs, I asked the attendants if food/drinks were available and was told not until 11. He said the restaurant could help us so we went to the bar inside. Also closed. Found the hostess and asked how we could get some cocktails and appetizers. Two of them looked lost. She said all they could pour was champagne or a bloody mary until the bartender arrived. And the food menu was not at all what you would want for poolside. So our choice was to sit inside for service or skip it entirely. We choose the latter and had some ice water while killing time. Not sure how a luxury hotel that draws people from all over the world, does not have one person in the building that makes drinks and/or prepares pool food until after 11 am.

Moving ahead to the treatments. Locker rooms were nicely equipped and clean. Treatment room was quite small for a couples massage and you had to slide in between the tables to move around. The view on their website that is displayed for this rooms view looks NOTHING like reality. We stared at dirty glass, over grown vines and the back of a hotel building in front of us. The massages themselves were decent and the therapists were very nice and professional.

Fast forward to checkout and the boutique that manages the payments was empty. Meaning the attendant was nowhere to be found. Waited 10 minutes for her to return to check out. Did not apologize for the wait and did not ask how our experience was. She simply said "last name?" I imagine she was checking in another guest but if they are going to leave people waiting, perhaps they should hire locker room attendants to do the tours as they do in most other spas in the world.

This is our 5th straight year of doing a spa day like this Orange County in July. Previous experiences at other locations were far superior in every sense of the word. The facilities, the availability of other common areas, food/drink service, etc.. Based on our experience here, there is little chance we would return.

All of the staff went above and beyond without me knowing to make me feel so special on my birthday weekend . I don’t ever want to leave . This place is paradise . We arrived on Friday and the concierges (Diane & Sandra ) sold us two last minute tickets to the Pagent of the Masters. Great seats, hours before the show 😁. The next day we went to their spa and I was treated to champagne and one of the best facials ever . Then, back in our room , the concierges surprised us with a fantastic bottle of wine and cheese plate. Thank you so much for making me feel so special . Your smiles alone made my weekend .
