Heisler Park is a beautiful walk along the Pacific where you can picnic, walk your dog or just sit and admire the ocean. There are sculptures from local artists scattered throughout the park - even a 9/11 memorial. There are BBQ stations in certain areas and restrooms. Make sure you make time for this park as it makes for a... More

Heisler Park is on the cliff above the Pacific. You have nice views on Laguna Beach and the Rocky coast. This is a definite Must Stop for Visitors from out of town. You could stand, sit or walk the area for hours. It is very calming and peaceful, though Weekends are a bit crowded.

Used this route from hotel into town (stayed at Laguna Beach House) and was a lovely cliff top, coastal view walk. Uphill on way back but not too bad! Also walked in other direction to access beaches, quite steep access so probably not suitable for those less able but well worth doing if you can. The views from here are... More

Having lived in Santa Monica for the past five years, Laguna Beach puts it to shame. Any visitors to southern California must visit Laguna Beach. Put lots of coins in the parking meter if you're parking on the street. You'll want to take your time enjoying the beach and the surrounding shops and restaurants.

We have been going to So. Cal for over 40 years and this is the nicest city park we have ever been in. On the bluffs overlooking the ocean (with access to the water in spots), beautifully maintained, and within walking distance from the city and beach. Allow yourself at least an hour to stroll up and down and around,... More

It is a short walk, less than one hour, easy for everyone. Spectacular views to enjoy at any time of the day, any season of the year.

I use a cane and found the wide cement path with lots of overlooks a perfect way to relax in Laguna. Be sure to stop and really look at the sculptures. I do this every time I visit

Families like to arrive early to secure a picnic table (or three) for nice days literally cliffside and steps down to the water.

My husband and I enjoy just sitting by the water, taking in the view and feeling the breeze come off the water. We are visiting from NJ and decided to come to Heisler Park one afternoon. There are picnic areas, bbq areas, open spaces for kids to play, various beach areas, various benches to just sit and take in the... More
