The downtown and main beach are right out of the 1920's. Great art galleries, gift shops, restaurants and Beach which is ideal for people watching. Only negative is limited street or lot parking. if you wish not to pay for the expensive hotels, choose a good restaurant with valet parking for lunch or brunch or dinner - then take your... More

All the places we saw and used were first rate. A very cool town, with plenty to do and see. Very friendly vibe

The walkway above the coves is gorgeous. Reminiscent of the Italian rivera. The waves are powerful, and it's fun to watch the volleyball players on the beach. There are also small boats and surfers. It's hard to describe--just beautiful! A must-see!

Laguna main beach is a nice beach. I have been there several times. I have always seen dolphins just a hundres yards off shore every time i go. Parking is metered about two dollars an hour. Get there before 1000 on the weekends and parking should not be a problem. Parking is up the hill beach side and mountain side... More

My girlfriend and I love to go to Laguna at just about any time of year. Summer, great beaches with lifeguards at most, and fantastic views of cliffs and rocks, add to that the art festivals of many types, Sawdust festival, Pageant of the Masters etc. and free shuttle busses from mid June till Sept 2. Winter, I think the... More

good for surfing/body boarding/ wave skimming. Not much room on it as its quite a narrow beach but clean. Lots of seaweed. Apparently good snorkelling round here but didn't do that.

We drive down the coast often. We love driving through Laguna Beach and shopping or just walking the beach.
