About
All classes are hands-on. Guest work together with the chef to prepare all parts of the meal. All skills needed will be taught through out. When the food is done, you will sit down at our large table to eat together. Appetizers and beverages are included with a very full meal.Our classes are kept small (12-14 guest). Wear your comfy clothes - you will be eating! Check out our website to sign up ahead- we sell out quickly.

Back to the Table is a great little cooking school. I've taken standard cooking classes there -- and held an event for the team. The staff is great, the vibe is cool and relaxed, and the food was, of course, awesome because I cooked it myself!

Tried to write this review in 2015, but TripAdvisor wouldn't take it - said this place didn't meet their criteria. So now - a few months later, here is my review.
Took a class in May 2015. LOVED the class. There were 8 of us in the class, and working in pairs, prepared an entire meal that we were able to share and enjoy. Our instructor was fabulous, and the pace and the content of the class was superb. I take many cooking classes and this is one of the best! I would take another one in a heartbeat!

We fixed an amazing 5 course meal - the perfect combination of learning new techniques and fun ending with a gorgeous presentation of a feast. We were greeted with a tasty appetizer and then the fun began. Best part - I have cooked the recipe set 3 times since!

We loved the experience. It is top notch. We made pork chops and crab cakes along with sides and desert. Karl, Lynn and Jared were outstanding. The instruction was perfect. We highly recommend the School for corporate and family events!

My husband and I have taken two classes. One was a pasta class and one was with Tally Vineyards, Santa Maria Barbeque. Both excellent. Plan on taking more classes in the future.

Culinary Essential Series 1 was so fantastic I took #2! The classes have made me so much more confident in the kitchen and excited to cook the next meal! It taught me that cooking isn't difficult with the right foundation and skills. You will learn so much more than what is listed in the class description! I highly recommend signing up next time you see one of the series on the calendar!

What better than learning professional tips and tricks in a fun and accessible way?
You owe it to yourself, your friends and relatives to give this a shot. Or Group event with your team at the office, what a total change of pace and bonding experience that would be, a whole lot better than bowling and pizza!

I have taken several classes at Back to the Table - with husband, daughter, friends and even a birthday party! The class was engaging, informative and fun. I loved having a full menu to take away and redo on my own - all or parts. Every time I serve one of the menus friends and family return very high marks. Well organized and particular ... Always fun.

We have done classes many places but Back to the Table has been great. Lots of fun. Lots to learn and no pressure to buy things. We love it and will be back for more classes!
