Great little place. Beers were very good. Plenty of board games, Jenga, Corn hole etc. We had a GIANT pizza delivered from NY Giant Pizza. Great place to spend a little time unwinding.

We're not big beer drinkers so one day after going to the nearby Dixieline we decided to stop in thinking maybe we could grab some lunch somewhere casual, but they have no kitchen. They do have food trucks typically later in the day, but encouraged us to either order for delivery there, bring your own and they even have BBQ's available if you wanted to do a picnic sort of thing (especially during the nights they have bands would be fun). We had some beers and played foursquared. They have so many different games available from jenga to boardgames to cornhole. It's a comfortable set up and even though it was a fairly warm day, there was a nice breeze coming through. The beers were tasty and service was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised and will plan to return. Give it a try.

We love this place to hangout and watch sports. Great beer and the brewery brings in food trucks that keeps the food experience changing. Great customer service and great times!

Hidden away in a commercial street in La Mesa, this is a great little brewery. The beers are good - the Mango is different and very refreshing. (Kind of like a shandy). Outdoor seating - and family friendly too. Give it a try!

Bolt has a great atmosphere and a wide variety of brews on tap, not just IPAs! A little light on food and snacks but good fun.

Hidden in the commercial section of La Mesa is a beer garden with awesome beer and live music. Sometimes there are food trucks, but you need to go a bit early for that. There were times we missed the food and ended up having beer for dinner.

No one under 21 is allowed in (even children with parents).

When Bolt first opened I wasn't impressed - nice place - nice beer, but due to the hard work the owners, brew masters, and people associated with the brewery it has become a regular stopping place for me. OK, I fish a lot so I stop in at Anglers Arsenal one business, away, they allow me to park there, get some reels filled or whatever, and go over and have a beer for an hour or so...I'm not a big stout/coffee beer drinker although guys in my poker group thought those offerings were great, but I like the "lighter" beers which they have some great ones! Definitely a great little brewery, fishermen, go to Anglers Arsenal in La Mesa and go about 50 feet for some great beers.

Rock bottom basic. You'll get your shoes dusty walking to the bar and the great sandwiches and tasty appetizers are served right from the resident roach coach on premises. But it's just a block from the ramps to Interstate 8 in La Mesa and it may be worth the stop. Hand crafted quality beer and good eats are just a block away so forget the traffic and have a beer.

This is such a great place to enjoy a nice sunny day. We loved being at the backside of the bar where they have a little "beergarden" area with some fake grass, benches, corn-hole and you are allowed to smoke. It's a nice place to just hang out with your friends. I would even go by myself and just bring the newspaper or a book with me.....

We stopped here trying to locate a place for a retirement party. The staff was very friendly and ultimately I think our party will be held here.
On this visit, it was not that crowded, parking was found close by. There is a good sized patio, and a smaller area around back. It is very neat and clean and there are usually food trucks onsite.
There is a large choice of beers, we opted for the "flight" it is a sampler of four of the beers available here. My wife likes the lighter while I went for the stout! You can easily find something to your taste here! Highly recommended!
