Enjoy it from the outside since, unless you are Mormon, you cannot enter. Looks like Disney designed and built it, very dramatic and fantastical!

It is an iconic Church ad visible from a distance and nice premises well maintained. Nighttime building glows beautifully and a pleasure to watch.

This is amazing just for the photo op. You can’t go inside without being Mormon and having a “recommend” but the grounds are gorgeous, entrance is free, and it’s the most AMAZING building in all of San Diego. Definitely worth a stop and no, you...More

Lovely to walk around the grounds - very relaxing. That's all there is to it, it's not a museum or anything exciting so don't expect that. It's simply peaceful.

First time visiting the church as I have always pass the church while driving interstate 5 and was always curious to see up close and thought that only Mormons are allowed to be in church. Little did I know just by one night parking in...More

Don't miss it at night. One of the most beautiful churches I have even seen. Next to the freeway, it looks like a castle. Very impressive. The gate was open so we were able to drive up and around the church. We were staying in...More

This is an impressive structure visible from the freeway. If you are in San Diego it is worth a drive by at the least.

Here is the phone number (858) 622-0991 to the San Diego Temple. If you have any questions, they are always so nice and helpful. There is usually someone on the temple grounds that can answer your questions as well.
