Nice Beach

We wanted to snorkel, but the water was too rough so we ended up just hanging out on the beach. It was a fun place to spend the day!

This is a great beach for sunning or strolling. It is wide, clean, and you can walk a very long way up the beach if you choose. Good facilities here (showers, restrooms, changing station). There are life guards to oversee the water.

Unusually warm today for this time of year. It's always a lovely beach front with great sand and waves. Good walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great facilities.

La Jolla Shores it is a beach which people can definitely spens all day long there. It is a suitable place for everyone. Some people surf, others play with balls, others just watch the sunset, but all of them have fun.

We just took a stroll for a bit during a quick 4 day getaway. There is free public parking, restrooms, and lifeguards. The water was way too chilly for us, but there were LOTS of people surfing, kayaking, and swimming.

Had a blast just walking up and down this beautiful stretch. The gulls are everywhere and there are rocks to climb on that host hermit crabs to watch. The surf crashes on the rocks and surfers flock to the beach in the evening. It's a great sight seeing destination and I'm sure a great swimming spot in the summer. It... More

Good parking, but best to head early, as it is very popularly. Beautiful beach for surfers, families with young children, and for those who just love to walk the beach. Gorgeous area. Easy access.

Nice beach for walking and people watching. The waves were huge all along the SD coast when we visited so it was beautiful. Not a local vacation time so beaches weren't really busy... just right. Beautiful sun, sand and warmth for this New Englander!

Wonderful place with an warm, old fashioned look and feel to it. Ocean front rooms are spectacular and you hear crashing waves outside your door. Great location near restaurants and the shuttle bus was a great service since I did not have a car. As others have pointed out, walls and ceilings/ floor seem to be paper- thin, the only... More
