This is a wonderful area to stroll around the top of the caves and beach via sidewalk and dirt walkways. We always see seals there, and beautiful flowers.

Seeing seals and sea lions at the zoo or Sea World is great, but there is nothing like seeing them out in nature, in their natural habitat, which is what you'll see at La Jolla Caves in San Diego, California. I haven't gone into the...More

Beautiful beach with viewing of seals. Watch the waves roll in and enjoy the beauty. There is a path the you can follow along the beach. There is a shopping area across the street.

If in San Diego you need to view the caves. Whether you walk around or take a kayak they are a cool sight to see. Seals smell like pigs but they are fun to watch and there are hundreds.

Bring a book or something to read so you can stay longer and enjoy the view, the breeze and some wildlife watching. Not much shade from trees but they do have at least 2-3 small "shelters" where you can sit and not be directly under...More

The beautiful caves at La Jolla Cove can be accessed, but you will need to do it by Kayak or a SUP about a mile down the beach and then head towards the cave and in. You can get out and swim, but you will...More
