Torrey Pines gives you the opportunity to play a US open venue. It was a very enjoyable experience with a course in good nick and true greens. The ondulating lay out is good and the course is a fair test of the blue or white tees. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Of the 4 courses we played Torrey Pines was the most expensive and really didn't live up to the hype or at least what I expected. Course shape was average and really not worth the big price tag but I've scratched it of my bucket list of places to golf and still enjoyed my round. I give it an average... More

We booked golf as part of a stay at The Lodge. Coordination of golf between The Lodge and the course left a LOT to be desired. Lack of communication and misinformation almost completely dampened the experience but this quickly faded once we stepped onto tje first tee box of the south course. The course was pristine and the views breathtaking.... More

I lived in San Diego for 20 years but somehow never played "Torrey Pines" while we lived here. Thought I'd give it a try today so showed up with shoes and bag and they were able to fit me into a 12:10 tee time on the South Course. For me, paying $239 to play a round of golf means I... More

If you are at all a serious golfer, this course needs to be on your bucket list. Even CBS announcer Jim Nantz could not come up with enough superlatives to describe the beauty. Both courses offer stunning views of the Pacific, particularly 6 and 7 on the North Course. Finding the extremely narrow fairways is a must, as shots from... More

What can you say. The views are spectacular and the course is immaculate. I have played both the north and south courses. They are very similar but the south has the US Open. You do not miss anything if you play the north course. there are some beautiful views of the ocean.

Nice overrated Course. Only 2 or 3 Holes run along the ocean. Out of town golfer, they nickel and dime you to death. $43.00 Reservation Fee for just the tee time. $183.00, more on weekend, Green Fee. Then $40.00 Cart Fee. Played it once, once is enough. Rough was tough and Greens were beautiful.

I had friends in from Colorado who wanted to play golf. As a long time resident of San Diego, I took them to Torrey Pines to play. It's beautiful with sweeping views of the ocean and the beautiful California coastline. There's not better place in San Diego to play golf. I highly recommend playing here, if you're in town and... Being a golfer, this is just one of the many courses that we all would like to play and having had the pleasure of walking in the footsteps of many a famous golfer I can safely say I wasn't disappointed when I was able to play recently. What made it quite special for me was that as a 'walk on'... More

Torrey Pines is really one of the most beautiful places to play golf, eat in the club house or watch a pacific sun set. If you are not a local resident you will find it a bit pricey but not outrageous. If you are a local it's one of the best golf bargains on the planet.
