Great place to take friends and family, I always go to the beach while we visit family! It's near to the Cabins we stay at (Woodland Villa)

The sky was grey, still we stopped at the Wilson Creek Beach. The beach had a brown sand. There were lots of rocks from the ocean. The rocks were dun to investigate. The rocks on the ocean were attractive. We had fun and that is what counts. Worthwhile to see!

I've stopped here many times, just to enjoy the lovely scenery. The beach is beautiful and there is paved parking just off the highway. There are no restrooms here, but there are some just a mile or so south at the rest stop.

We skipped Crescent City Beach and came down to Wilson. The beach was empty, except for 40 or 50 seagulls facing down the wind. The sand is nearly black and the water was comfortable enough to walk knee deep. From the beach we spotted a pair of dolphin diving about a hundred feet offshore - followed by another dolphin. It was a lovely, carefree experience.

I always park above the overlooks and never really go down to the beach. Still I enjoy the view as I drive along the cliffs and river.
