There are rental items available near by on the beach. Kayaking, Paddle boarding. As beaches at Tahoe go, Sand Beach is cleaner and less busy, but Kings beach has more to-do options and food nearby. No waves. Lots of algae/water moss.

Great Beach in North Lake Tahoe. Plenty of space for parking. Restaurants and shopping is plentiful around the area.

Our condo Brockway Springs Resort was on the beach. And we walked further down to reach downtown. It was such a convenient location..we spent sometime taking photos and watched the sunset. Lovely views!

We stopped by in the morning enroute to northstar. The color of the sky, water, rocks and pines were stunning in the morning light. Benches beckoned promising enlightened contemplation. Go!

The perfect place to stop and enjoy a sunny winter evening, catch the sunset before dinner. Lots of folks enjoy the evening, we were lucky enough to see a free jumper land very nicely on his skis!

This was close to our condo that we rented over the weekend in January, there was lots of snow and we were going snowmobiling at Eagle Ridge the following day. We wanted a quick access to some fun. This was right there in Kings Beach, 5.00 parking and 5.00 for rental of sled. Two hills was plenty for a couple... More

Nice, sandy beach-beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. Really enjoyed scenic route from Reno, but the road would be miserable in bad weather and/or dark. Winding, hairpin turns, altitude. Kings Beach the first good place to decompress after the harrowing drive.

The Rangers at the entrance are helpful and friendly, giving advice on trails and directions. Parking area clean and restrooms by parking. Hiking trails have variety of levels. They need more markers on trails to give hiker some idea of how far to lake, etc. Also, an animal safe trash can here and there can help hikers unload and keep... More
