Nice beach right in town. The beach is sandy and gradually gets deeper, on a warm day it just perfect.

Great fun. Beautiful place, we kayaked and swam all day, and had a picnic on the beach. It was hard to go home at the end of the day. Very peaceful watching the sun go down.

The beach had a nice view of the hills with the lake; however it wasn't as nice as the other location in South tahoe. In addition the beach is very small with an entrance fee that's wasn't worth the admission.

Bike trails are everywhere. Lots of ski slopes turn into mountain bike trails in the summer with the ski lifts active. Northstar resort does this.
