I've never been to Tahoe and smelled sewer? This beach stinks! We usually go to sand harbor but late afternoon parking lot still full. Drove to kings beach and parked in the neighborhood across the street from the beach since the parking lot was also full. Disappointed to find a crowded beach that smelled like sewer. Didn't go into the... More

We ended up here late morning since Sand Harbor state park was full. It was only 10:30 on a weekday morning! So we kept driving, coming from South Lake Tahoe, and ended at Kings Beach. We rented a SUP and enjoyed ourselves for about an hour before the winds picked up so severely that any attempt of standing up on... More

This was a great spot $10 to park - get there early, they fill up by lunch time. There are many activities to purchase right off the beach. Stand Up Paddle-boards, Jet Ski's, Parasailing, kayaks... so much fun! Bathrooms were pretty clean considering it was jam packed.

Nice beach right in town. The beach is sandy and gradually gets deeper, on a warm day it just perfect.

If you want to have beach fun with available watercrafts, Kings Beach will make your day! 2 person and 4 person Paddle boats, kayak-type boats, water tricycles, jet skis along with nearby access to parasailing are all there. The 2 person paddle boats are currently $25/hr and the jet skis are $140/hr--just to give an idea. The beach is fairly... More

Three generations of one family were able to enjoy this beautiful location during the summer. Water crystal clear, not too cold for either younger child, 2, the tweens, parents or grandparents. Countless hours enjoying the water and sandy beach. Plenty of hire stores to get canoes, kayaks or paddle boards and blow ups. Good good outlets close by. Ideal spot... More

A very convenient, large, easy-to-access beach on the North Shore. There is tons to do here with so many outfitters right nearby. You don't even have to leave the beach to rent kayaks and SUPs from Adrift or go parasailing with North Tahoe Watersports or rent pedal boats from another company like we did. Tons to do. The sand here... More
