Our tour guide, Molly, was great. This was my 3rd time on a paddleboard, but never so exciting. Our guide coached me and helped me keep up the pace. We were able to see sites that you can only get to from the water; Crystal fragments shinning from below the water, hot springs and deep cobalt blue water (which I... More

My wife and I did the paddleboard/kayak tour in the summer of 2015. We really enjoyed it. It was a great workout and very scenic. We learned a lot of facts from the tour guides as well. We will probably do it again next time we're in Lake Tahoe.

This was my second time Kayaking with Tahoe Paddle and Oar. Just like my first review everything was great. The staff even let us know the wind was picking up on the lake and we could reschedule. We elected to brave the weather. Super time with Mike as our guide we were instructed and informed with some interesting lake facts... More

My wife and I bought tickets for the three hour kayaking tour, and had a wonderful time. The tour guide Michael was very informative about the history and pointed out some great locations. Although I had never kayaked before, this was a great experience and I would do it again.

We don't usually like to do tours. We like to go out on our own a little but his particular tour was great. We had vouchers for the 5 of us from travel zoo which made it super affordable. Most of us had not done SUP before. There were a total of 8 people in the group. Our tour guide... More

The family rented 2 double kayaks. The staff here was super friendly. Ensured the kids had proper fitting life vests. Our tour guide was really informative about the Crystal Cove area. Interesting nature facts as well as history. The 2 and half hour tour was well worth the money and drive from the south shore. Kings Beach, where we shoved... More

This was a wonderful way to spend a morning. We paddled a few miles and visited the natural hot springs, navigated under docks and through boulders into Crystal Bay. We experienced moving from water about 40 feet in depth to over 1000 feet. Lake Tahoe is spectacular and it was a treat seeing it from this perspective. The trip was... More

We called ahead and told them we were coming as we were a group of about 10 people. Laura (very awesome employee) reserved SUP's and kayaks for our group and everything was ready when we arrived. We signed the paperwork at the shop then walked across the street to the beach. The employee (I can't remember his name) helped us... More

We always rent from Tahoe Paddle and Oar. They are quick and friendly and they don't nickel-and-dime you on minutes. They are generous if you are 10 min late etc. This year we rented 5 kayaks and 2 SUPs. They didn't flinch and got us going very quickly. Their location is good and I like that they've been around for... More

I know part of my excitement was just the fact that we got to experience Lake Tahoe but it was made all the better by renting paddle boards from Tahoe Paddle and Oar. We had vouchers for their use and it made renting easy! The staff was a little misinformed at the beach but we worked through it. Renting and... More
