A really busy place to visit. There’s a costume shop nearby which you could rent a kimono or samurai costumes for some good pictures. Overall it’s a pleasant place to visit with many shops around, but was too packed.

Traditional inside, Commercial outside, Must eat the Ramen opposite train station. Value for money. Touching the cow statute, wash your hand before pray. Souvenir on both site. The Train take from Tenjin Fuokoka quite confuse not sure need to change train or not.

This shrine was beautifully set in lovely gardens. The three bridges leading into it representing the past, present and future as part of the purification ritual were something that set this shrine apart from many others. This particular shrine is one that schoolchildren and students...More

We arrived in the morning and it’s already very crowded. The one thing that surprise me is not the temple itself, but the surrounding garden and bridges as it’s stunningly beautiful. Interestingly, you will find groups of students leading by their teachers to the temple...More

One of the reasons to go to Dazaifu. A must visit and very close to Komyozenji Temple and the National Museum. All three places is a must visit when in Dafaizu. The shrine is a typical japanese shrine with interesting architecture and history.

I arrived there at May. The closing time is 17:00 and almost all shops nearby also close.
