I went there end of April. The mountain was still having ice. All look like beautiful. This is my first time to see the path of skiing. It look really attractive. I would like to try playing skiing in some day.

Me and 2 friends have climbed Mt Yotei 2 years in a row. Late March in 2017 and early April in 2018. Each time it has been a challenging trek and climb. This is a real mountaineering experience and should not be done without proper...More

Stunning mountain rising from a flat plain. Big surprise if you've not seen it before. Many ski fields have Yoteisan as a backdrop, making it even more surreal.

Had a ski tour setup with Black Diamond tours and had a chance to skin up the volcano to ski down some fresh pow. Beautiful views, challenging experience and a memory you'll never forget. Fill up at the hot spring at the base before your...More

From crowded Sapporo to here is just a 50 km drive. Once you leave Otaru, you find yourself in vast forests ending in rocks looking out of the ocean. I was extremely impressed although I know lots of places you can consider wilderness.
