It is a very unique church totally made of stone construction. Although it is a small church but it really surprises you once you enter the church and the overall setting is breathtaking and we understand why many people would want to have their wedding ceremonies in this unique environment. Should not miss if you are in this region.

Stone church is small but beautiful. On one side is a water and fern wall. The altar end is open to the sky. The pews are made of wood. The whole place is angular but it works. As there's nothing like anywhere else it's worth a look. Few are disappointed.

Constructed in 1988 by Kendrick Bangs Kellogg and Kazuto Yamaura, the Stone Church is beautifully located in a wood area, a good 10-minute walk from Harunire Terrace, in the compound of Hotel Bleston Court. The church is uniquely built with stone structure. Inside the church, no photography is allowed as it's a sacred place. It has rows of wooden pew... More

On the premises of Hotel Bleston Court, we couldn't go inside this church or the nearby Karuizawa Kogen Church due to weddings taking place but were allowed to take some pictures from the outside. The building is interesting enough but not the most amazing sight - the whole area is very nice and pleasant though. We cycled over 5 km... More

Must go if you are around the area. Very unique church and nice to walk around the area. Can only take photos outside the church.

church opens at 10am, we had to wait but it was worth it. I might consider getting married there someday. The weather was not the best but I would love to come back in another season.

Definitely worth a visit! This is five minutes walk from the Bleston Court Hotel and we were lucky to visit in perfect winter weather. An amazing building, inside and out, whether one is spiritual or not.

Go here for the aesthetic and the architecture, it's very special. They have a lot of weddings here so you may have to wait for a few minutes to get in but it is well worth it. Wander around the gardens too.

Memorial experience in visting the church. It's a pity that no photo taking is allowed inside the church.

Such a magical space to be in. Small and intimate. Set around lots of nature. Potentially great for photo-shoots.
