Stunning architecture and beautiful environment. With every minute to visit. Never have seen a church quite like this one.

The cold weather added to the sentiments while walking through the premises of this lovely church. The church is designed with an interesting play of natural light and gives a wow effect once inside the small sanctuary.

We walked up the road from the bus stop for about 5-10 minutes to reach the Stone Church. It is not as big, but it is surprisingly beautiful. Very beautiful in the inside. It would be great if we can visit an illuminated church at night.

Interesting design and nice ambience, it may be a bit far from the train station but there is a free shuttle bus. Though I do not think there is any regular service and the place is more famous for hosting wedding ceremony, one should just sit inside and meditate for a while.

It is a very unique church totally made of stone construction. Although it is a small church but it really surprises you once you enter the church and the overall setting is breathtaking and we understand why many people would want to have their wedding ceremonies in this unique environment. Should not miss if you are in this region.

Stone church is small but beautiful. On one side is a water and fern wall. The altar end is open to the sky. The pews are made of wood. The whole place is angular but it works. As there's nothing like anywhere else it's worth a look. Few are disappointed.

Constructed in 1988 by Kendrick Bangs Kellogg and Kazuto Yamaura, the Stone Church is beautifully located in a wood area, a good 10-minute walk from Harunire Terrace, in the compound of Hotel Bleston Court. The church is uniquely built with stone structure. Inside the church, no photography is allowed as it's a sacred place. It has rows of wooden pew... More

On the premises of Hotel Bleston Court, we couldn't go inside this church or the nearby Karuizawa Kogen Church due to weddings taking place but were allowed to take some pictures from the outside. The building is interesting enough but not the most amazing sight - the whole area is very nice and pleasant though. We cycled over 5 km... More

Must go if you are around the area. Very unique church and nice to walk around the area. Can only take photos outside the church.

church opens at 10am, we had to wait but it was worth it. I might consider getting married there someday. The weather was not the best but I would love to come back in another season.
