All kinds of goods are available, most at a premium, but some outlet shops have discounted goods from shops in Tokyo and elsewhere. Two good French bakeries, specialty Jam & Jelly; Honey; jeans; art; and other unique shops. Lots of places to have food of...More

Shopping area in Nagano Prefecture. the highlight is the atmposhere, quite and relax. you can just walk around or riding a bike without no rush. Just try the milk that sell by some cafe, very fresh.

Karuizawa can be an expensive place but in this street prices are pretty much the same as any other part in Japan. That being said they do sell most products that are sold in any other touristic place in Japan. You will find a lot...More

I liked going along this street so much. There are a lot of shops that sell many local products. I was looking for a good quality Japanese Honey that I could find fortunately. There are shops that sell different kinds of honey beyond what I...More

There were only souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes for tourists in this street. There was no shop for local residents. I felt that prices were relatively expensive. There was nothing surprisingly interested.

Interesting town centre half an hour's walk from the main railway station. You pass retail shops along the way, some selling the famous fruit jams but at exorbitant prices and a large, clean public toilet provided some temporary shelter in the continuous rain when we...More

Lots of things to see and buy. Enjoyed walking and looking at the shops. Nice cafes along this street. Quite expensive but good coffee and snacks.

It's in central of Kyukaruizawa. Quite beautiful shops. Not crowd when we visited. Convenient to walk to pond 雲場池, just 15 minutes walk. And, good and beautiful restaurants around.

Even if you don’t need anything, go for a walk and check out the stores. There are so many things you don’t want to buy that you will buy, that you will enjoy the walk and the free time!
