If you are interested in seeing festival carriages, but you can't come to the festival, this museum gives you an overview displaying three of them. Interesting experience. There is also a tatami room on the first floor and a small exhibition concerning the festival in the second floor, all information only in Japanese

Entrance fee to the Inuyama Castle is 500 yen, and a combination ticket to the Castle and 3 more small museums is 600 yen. Do bother to visit any of these museums if you are buying separate tickets. See the 3 storey festival trolleys. It is fascinating, even if you have been to a Japanese festival in person.

If you're interested in local culture and/or Japanese festivals, this is a must-see. It's very interesting and it won't take you long to see everything. If you are spending the day sightseeing in that area, you ought to get the Wanmaru ticket, which is the Inuyama mascot ticket that includes admission to 4 places, including Dondenkan.
