We booked our trip from home in the UK - easy and very helpful. Our tuk tuk, driver and guide were waiting as planned with a large sign, outside the port, and we were given a facemask each ( very helpful as the roads were quite dusty) Our guide was brilliant - spoke good English, kept us informed and was helpful and friendly. We visited two temples which were amazing and our guide told us about the history and culture, explaining what was happening. We were taken to a huge market (local and not tourist ( where we walked round with our guide. It was fascinating and well worth seeing. We visited a beach and had a walk, and were taken to a wonderful little restaurant (Sandan ( which helps local students gain skills) we had a fantastic meal with local beer at a very reasonable price. Sihanoukville is undergoing massive development and many of the roads are unmade and bumpy and dusty, but it didn't affect our day. All in all we had an amazing day which lasted around 5 hours and our guide could not have done any more for us. This was probably the best day of our cruise around the Far East. Brilliant!

Our booking with Sihanoukville Guide Service was very efficient from beginning to end. Manfred provided us with excellent communication and replied to emails very quickly. He gave us a detailed of where to meet our guide which was extremely useful because the port was so busy especially with all the other guides meeting passengers from our cruise ship and trying to sell them tours.
Heng, our guide and our driver were waiting for us at the port gate as arranged. We were provided with an air conditioned car rather than a Tuk Tuk because the roads were so dusty. Later, having seen other tourists on Tuk Tuk we were very pleased to have a car rather than a Tuk Tuk (and at no extra closet to us).
Heng was an excellent guide and gave us lots of information wherever we went. We visited a variety of sights including the fishing port, a Buddhist temple, a beautiful beach, a market, the town and lots more.
We felt very safe with our driver despite the roads being so poor. He was very friendly too.
We visited the Sandan restaurant for a drink which was like an oasis in the middle of the town. Next time we visit we would love to have a meal there.
All in all it was a great trip. We saw so much more and received so much more information being just the two of us. Compared to what other people paid for group tours, this tour was extremely good value. We would certainly book with them again if we visit Sihanoukville in the future.

Our cruise ship was docked at Sihanoukville (09:00 to 19:00) and we had booked a Shihanoukville Day Tour with Sihanoukville Guide Service. After taking the complimentary shuttle to the port entrance, we quickly found our guide and driver.
As Sihanoukville is a huge construction site at the moment, our guide Aya had decided to take us around in a car instead of a tuk-tuk – which was a good idea! We went to a market where Aya let us try different fruit and other food – we really enjoyed that! We also got to see a pagoda, beaches, etc. and Aya shared many of her own stories with us, too.
We had a great time with Aya and would highly recommend the tour!

Sihanoukville took us by surprise, to put it mildly, our fault of course as we should have researched the place before booking. Instead we relied on someone's description as a 'nice' beach resort. It was not... as a result, we wanted to do something outside of town, something with a bit more authenticity.
We found Aya's company on Google, and wrote to her to see if it is possible to do something/ go somewhere the day after. She was great, responding very quickly and providing us with a couple of options. We went for visit to La Plantation, a Kampot pepper farm that supplies a high quality organic pepper products all over the world.
Aya communicated with us by Telegram app, picked us up from the hotel the next morning, and looked after us for the day.
She speaks good English, she is warm and really caring about her customers getting the best experience. She was very helpful in finding us local laundry (hotel prices are mental), listened to our needs during the tour, and made sure we were happy with what was happening.
My husband and I had a lovely and informative day, thank you Aya!

My group of 10 people had booked a private tour with Sihanoukville guide service. Manfred provided us with detail information about our tour and fast in replied to all my emails. The booking went smoothly from beginning to end. We had no problem in met up our guide and driver at the port entrance and the van was clean and comfortable. Although the city was under construction everywhere, our guide and driver did their very best to make our tour as enjoyable as they could. The restaurant our guide brought us to for lunch was clean and the food was excellent. We felt very safe with them. Our guide was informative and attentive. We all had a good time. I highly recommend Sihanoukville service guide.

We had a great 5-hour tour with a local very knowledgable tour guide. The tour operator has mentioned before already that there are a lot of construction sites and the roads are bad.
We have had a good overview of the fishing port, fishing village, monuments, local market and the beach.
A stop at the "Sandan" restaurant with good food and excellent WIFI.
The booking process with very fast responses. Payment of the tour afterwards.
I recommend this company and the tour.

Aya and our driver were lovely. We enjoyed learning about the pepper plantation. The highlight of the day was going to Kep and having lunch at the fish market. Aya picked out fabulous crab and prawns for us and had them cooked perfectly. The food was delicious! Both Aya and our driver were most attentive and helpful.
The only downside to the day was the long drive which was beyond Aya’s control. The roads are in horrible condition which makes driving very slow. The number of construction trucks also slowed us down. If only those trucks were fixing the roads. Hopefully Cambodia will make improvements to the roads which will benefit everyone. Cambodia has great potential.

Me and my family had a day trip with our guide Aya in Cambodia. She was very kind, helpful and informative. Like she mentioned it is a very poor town but she made her best at showing us the better side of it. She took us to lunch at a very nice/clean restaurant where the food was DELISH!!! Aya, thank you for making our day in Sihanoukville a memorable one.

This was a small group of 6 people from the cruise ship. We met at the port gate and started our tour. Van was air conditioned and water was available. We had a driver and a guide which was great. First stop was a fishing villiage and we actually got to go on the boats to look around. Then to the temple on the hill. Next the market. Everything you could imagine was being sold there. Then lunch at Sandan resturant. It was fantastic. Great food very inexpensive. The city is under massive reconstruction. In two years this will be an incredible modern place. WE enjoyed the tour.

Our ship The Maasdam (HAL) had a scheduled port stop in Sihanoukville and prior to the cruise my sister-in-law in Australia did the research finding out what we could do whilst in port. Being impressed with the reviews that came up with Aya Tours she communicated with Manfred who was very quick to respond and our booking was made. Alas my sister-in-law had to cancel the cruise due to her husband’s ill health but as we live in the UK we carried on and found a lovely couple on the ship to take their place on this tour.
Our Tuk-Tuk and driver was there waiting for us at the port gate and also our guide Monica. She was so enthusiastic and very knowledgeable and informative with a lovely personality – we felt we had struck lucky.
First off she suggested we give the Waterfall a miss as it was quite a drive and as it was a hot day it would have been exhausting for us and most certainly dusty. First off was the visit to the fisherman’s village – a place we would not have missed as it gave us an informative inside view of their way of life including unloading their fish, the homes etc. however at the dock it was a bit messy underfoot and as is understandable the aroma was something else!
Monica explained how she paid to teach little ones English hoping that this would help them further their education. She advised us not to give any children money that we came across begging as this only encouraged parents to send them out onto the streets. If they didn’t get any money then perhaps they would then go to school. Gifts of pencils, crayons, colouring books etc would be more beneficial to them. After we asked, she took us to visit a small class at the school where she taught.
Also on the itinerary was a visit to a pristine beach of fine white sand and amazingly h no one else there! At another beach we stopped for a most enjoyable lunch at one of the many beachside bars .We also visited the central market and here Monica did lots of negotiating of prices of the items which we wished to buy.
Our thanks go out to Monica for giving us an intelligent insight of Combodia’s way of life and we wish to please pass on our best wishes to her for her future.
Our thanks also to you Aya for organising the trip and also Manfred. We wish you lots of success with your business and we will certainly recommend your company to others.
