I spend my money here because it’s the only food store in town with all generally needed stock. Orange and lemon stores don’t have as much variety of stock. So if people don’t go to Samudera, I’d like to know where they go.
The stock in this so called "supermarket" (they should take the super out) is off the scale of ridiculous... There is no order to speak of and zero stock control. When something runs out it should be normal practice to replace stock BEFORE it runs...More
Sihanoukville doesn't have much shopping to do, unless you tour supermarkets. Samudera sells cheaper alcohols than other markets after surveying! Cigarettes are cheap too if you smoke. BTW, this is based on our currency (MYR) to usd that we think the alcohols are cheap. =)...More

They lose the option of overcharging.
However many prices in this supermarket are not on the goods, display is often chaotic, and it is packed at around six pm.
But drink is cheap, and there is an excellent selection of wine, some reasonable priced.
