Landmark Vineyards was founded in 1974 in Windsor, CA and in 1989 relocated to Kenwood, CA on a spectacular piece of land at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Landmark specializes in premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rhône wines such as Syrah and Grenache from the best vineyards in Sonoma County and California. Our Steel Plow Estate wines use organic farming practices and are pesticide free. The tasting room menu is always changing and we offer winery tours by appointment only. Most Saturdays we feature complimentary horse drawn vineyard tours so bring a picnic and enjoy the beautiful gardens or a game of bocce.

We spent a week at the Landmark Vineyards in their Guest Suite. OUTSTANDING! Beautiful room, great setting, fireplace and the best part, you are in the heart of Sonoma wine country. Staff was great, maid service daily, bottle of wine on arrival. Great place to stay in wine country.

My husband and I stayed in Landmark Vineyard's guestroom on our last night in Wine Country last March. We started with a tour in the afternoon that was included in the stay. We'd already had a number of vineyard/winery tours by this point, and had decided to cancel it - but when we arrived, they offered again, and we took... More

We went in for a tasting on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. We went with our 11 month old after seeing online this venue was "family friendly". We were the only ones in the tasting room for the majority of the time we were there and the staff was extremely welcoming of our little one. They educated us about each wine... More

I had the opportunity to visit Landmark last week and it was great! The wines are simply delicious and affordable! I live on the East Coast, so I had the chance to try the local varietals! I am definantly joining their wine club! Cheers, CB

This was our next stop after VJB Cellars and we were pretty disappointed. There was no unique shopping to speak of and no option of food to accompany our wine. The outdoor sofas were lovely to see at a distance scattered throughout the courtyard. Too bad the cushions were sodden, dirty and liberally dusted in leaves. We had to brush... More

We happened to stop in on a Saturday when they were having an event. We tasted good wine, ate BBQ, listened to love music and played bags (cornhole). We loved the Solomon and took some with us on the short little horse drawn carriage tour around the vineyard. Would highly recommend for its beautiful patio and friendly staff.

Stopped by driving down Sonoma Valley on the way to Napa. Beautiful grounds and setting. You can buy a picnic for $40 and enjoy their wines al fresco. Or just visit the tasting room where knowledge and service was usual high standard. One of their Pinot's was served at the White House apparently. We certainly enjoyed it and purchased a... More

We went with a club member and got 5 star treatment! We sat outside, which was lovely!!!! Our server came outside to bring various wine options and spent time telling us about each wine. The wines were very enjoyable!

This winery was recommended to us by Local Wally where you can get the Priority Wine Pass. If you are on a serious quest of wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma, get this pass as most of the wineries will honor it (call ahead to confirm) for 2 for 1 tastings. If you are on a budget, it is the... More

My wife and I visited Landmark in August. Although we went through the operation and visited the vineyard, we felt our time at other wineries was more informative. They do have a lovely courtyard where you can do some tastings. I was able to buy some cheese and crackers too, which was a huge bonus. We purchased 2 bottles and... More
