We offer 1/2 day, full day, and multi day river trips on the Wild and Scenic Trinity River. Raft rentals and shuttles are also available for the more experienced paddlers.

Our family (grown daughters and son-in-law) did this trip during the whole COVID-19 thing. The staff wore masks when we registered and our pilot wore one when she made up our lunch. We did the full day trip and though the water was lower than usual because not as much water was being released from the dam, there was enough for some thrilling rapids. Kate, our pilot was very knowledgeable and we all felt secure in her hands. We had chances to swim and my daughter even had the opportunity to pilot the boat for a bit. It was a fun getaway not too far from home.

We had a blast! Just returned from our rafting trip on 8/1/2020. We took our kids 14,15,19 for our first time. Our route was Pigeon Point. It had just enough excitement and relaxation. The team was very organized, very knowledgeable and very entertaining. Our guide Rocco was awesome! During the slower parts of the river he kept us entertained with stories and rafting tricks my teens were more then happy to try. Lunch was great and they were very conscious of Covid and allowed us to prep our own wraps with items that they provided. I can’t find anything bad to say about this group. They were awesome. We got stuck on some boulders a couple times but that’s the name of the game. The water levels are always changing and you just adapt. Thank you for a wonderful experience guys! We will be back.

From the first response to my inquiry email all the way to our last moments, Bigfoot Rafting was a great experience. We had a party of 10 guys for a bachelor party. We did a two-day, overnight adventure. The guides, Jake and Colin, took us down the Upper Trinity the first day. We had a great time. They prepared lunch and dinner the first day and breakfast and lunch the next. We all had plenty to eat and drink. The campground was all set up with tents, sleeping bags, and chairs. Even a campfire with S'mores at the end of the day. I recommend Bigfoot rafting with no reservations.

So. Much. Fun. All I have to say! My bff and I went as a bday gift for me. We showed up and it was just me, my bff and the rafting leader Libby. We all hit it off right away and actuaoly left about 20 minutes early because we all had time and why not? We did the higher level rafting and had so much fun. The leader Libby was so sweet, so informative of the nature and wildlife as well as what to expect in each rapid. The entire trip felt like it was a girls day because Libby was so easy to talk with. We cannot wait to make this a yearly event and see Libby each time. 10/10 reccomend this place!!!

Booked for a Friday 2 people Pidgeon Point run, 9am to 3pm, we moved on thru and completed at 1pm, you can taylor your time on the river with your guide. Great run for 1st time rafters and folks who dont want big waves and crashes. Took 21 year old nephew on his first, was a great run for him, he will be looking for bigger water next trip, keep in mind water conditions change throughout spring summer and fall.
Our guide was great (Joe) gave some history, pointed out wildlife, read the water well and asked which runs we wanted. Thanks Joe

This was a first time for some and a repeat for others, and everyone had an amazing experience. Our guide, Alex, made sure that all 7 of us(regardless of skill level) thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Great rapids with plenty of down time in between for swimming and cliff jumping. Wow, can't rate it high enough. Thank you Alex- hope your arm is okay! See you next time.

Fun and intimate. We booked the family class 2 trip for myself and my two sons. Our guide was Dennis the menace. He is a very nice guy and seems to know the area very well. We were alone with him on this stretch of the river so it was a very different trip than any others I have had over the years, which was a nice change of pace having the entire river to ourselves. The area is extremely scenic, more scenic than all of my trips combined including Costa Rica and Alaska. We chose the mellower class 2 trip so it was as exciting as my former trips but we did have fun and I would recommend this operation. They are very friendly from the moment you show up ( unlike operations in other areas where they turn on the charm only after you get started ) which seems to be a reflection of this area.

Great experience for first time rafting experience. Went with my 2 teenage kids with Craig as our guide. We did the pigeon point run that has class 3 rapids. Beautiful and fun with enough scenery and danger for everyone. Cost a lot less than I expected. It was 70 dollars each for 3 hours run. It was easy to book by just driving up to location. Anyone who has never tried river rafting should give Bigfoot a try. Great experience.

Had a blast with Bigfoot Rafting this weekend! I’ve been a local to the Lost Coast my entire life, and river rafting the Trinity with Bigfoot Rafting is always a good time. Shout out to our amazing river guide, Libby!!

Jake was the best!!! Relaxed, skilled, entertaining, and with us all the way!!! He even swam with us and did a back flip off the cliff 😊. He paid attention to each of us and met all of our needs. Thank you so much for a fun day. Highly recommend!

We are rafting with another family and want to know if it's safe to raft with all the rain we had this Winter? Usually we dont go in the river until after the 4th of July as a rule of thumb? Also are u right next door to Strawhouse where I can relax while everyone goes rafting with you?
The water is higher than usual this year so I would suggest getting a guided trip if you aren’t experienced. Bigfoot Rafting is right next door to the Strawhouse Cafe and there is also a great beach with chairs available for relaxing at the Bigfoot Rafting shop.
