Very knowledgeable staff. Lots of helpful brochures and maps. Interesting exhibit on the park at the center along with a snack bar cafe. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Staff were lovely - gave us a map and drew on their recommended route which saved loads of time. Also best to use the toilets at the visitor centre rather than the long drops in the park itself.

Lots of great and accurate information awaits you at the Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center. The staff is very friendly as USNPS staff always is. Very nice little gift shop, too.

The rangers and volunteers make JTNP a wonderful place. They are helpful, kind and will share insider knowledge about the park, its flora and fauna, as well as the archaeological info of various locations within the park. Love these guys.

Good place to stop for park and trail information. There's a small area of informative exhibits along with books and a gift shop. It's also the last place with running water as you enter the park. A small cafe is also attached and offers box...More

They were even open on Easter Sunday! We walked in, quite busy, but a young man behind the counter eagerly welcomed me over and showed me a big map of the park, He marked it up with places to view, to hike, to have lunch,...More

Stop by and get a map or a bite to eat at the deli. The center is a nice beginning point for exploring JTNP.
