Make sure you stop in and take home a little memento of your trip. Lots of books and friendly people to help you find the best views.

Helpful stop in Joshua Tree
Jul 2021
Stopped here in search of a Joshua Tree Tortoise shirt (found it!) and took a few minutes to enjoy all the place had to offer. A nice little exhibit about Joshua Tree, some great art, a nice gift shop, and the little sandwich/drink shop offered up some unique options - good coffee drinks, too.

The place looks to be very new, too. Worth a stop for sure!

Informative staff.

The staff here is very informative and nice. This place has a wealth of information for the national park. My friends asked lots of questions and they had answers for them. Stop by here if this is your first time visiting the park. You will learn a lot and know what to look for.

Located outside the park.

Nice, brand new visitor center. The property is still under construction and looks like it will be very, very nice. Clean bathrooms.

This is one of the best visitor centers in Southern California. I has very much information on everything to see and do in the area of Joshua Tree Park, Palm Springs and Borrego Springs. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you no stopped here before, I recommend that you do so. There is lots of information to be gained from the written materials and staff that are there.

Worth a stop before you enter the Park

We always stop at the Visitor Center of a National Park. This one is small, but informative. It includes a small gift shop. Rangers are happy to answer questions.

Friendly but disappointing exhibits

The staff is friendly but the exhibits are minimal and disappointing. They could have explained so much more!

Stop in to grab maps and buy Joshua Tree souvenirs

This visitor center is a friendly, easy stop en route to the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. (West entrance, as I recall.) Maps of the park and plenty of cool souvenirs for yourself, as well as friends and family back home who couldn't make the trip! =)
