About
Beautiful grounds & view, nestled in the foothills of sun drenched Deerhorn Valley in San Diego's east county. We are a Boutique Winery, with several varietals growing in our hillside vineyard and make low volume artesian hand crafted wine. We also have California Organic Olive Oil, flavored Olive Oils and imported Balsamic vinegar. Open Sat. & Sun. 11-5 Only a 5 mile drive east of Jamul on Highway 94 (old Campo Road) and turn left onto Honey Springs Road. We are 5.5 miles up the road on the left. (1/2 mile past the Fire Station). It's a beautiful drive. Proud member of The Wineries On Highway 94.

Driving through Jamul, I saw the signs for Deerhorn Valley Vineyards. We decided to go wine tasting. So glad we did, it was a wonderful relaxing visit. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable, explaining the wines we tasted and the process of wine making. They also had flavored olive oils to taste. We purchased several wines and olive oils. They will be perfect gifts for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I will need more for my holiday parties so I will be going back to enjoy the day.

This is my go to place for olive oil and vinegar! We live a half hour away, and regularly do the drive for their olive oil and vinegar. It’s absolutely the best; I’m obsessed! We use it in salad dressings, dipping sauces & give it as gifts to friends & family. Going out there also makes for a really fun day. Talk about farm fresh, I regularly connect with small local farmers while I’m there. The drive is beautiful, the owners are so much fun, and their wine tastings are great- I love their rose-zen. I’m a local and going out to the estate is one of my favorite things to do. I highly recommend!!!

Set nicely on the eastern slope of the iconic Lions Peak, Deerhorn Valley Vineyards is just a short drive from Highway 94, with Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, and Zinfandel all growing on their estate vineyards! Love Dianne's energy, love for wine, and the beautiful atmosphere!

Diane and her husband make great wine and Diane's smile lights up the room when you walk in the door making you feel like you just came home! Stop in, learn about wine making, enjoy a tasting and then buy 1 or 100 bottles, she waives your tasting fee with purchase.

Loved this place! Justin was incredibly nice to my mom and I and we got to taste lots of their wine selection and signed up for their wine club! I have to say that I loved their wine the most out of all the places we visited so far. Just an amazing selection. Try the petit sirah, you'll fall in love!

We landed at San Diego airport at 2 pm and we were at Deerhorn Valley Vineyards by 4 pm. Diane took great care of us. The chardonnay, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar are wonderful. Great out of the way Vineyard.

We found a brochure in the San Diego airport talking about the wineries on Highway 94 outside San Diego. Most of the wineries are open Saturday and Sunday for tastings and by appointment. We made appointments at 3 during the week, including this one. We had a FABULOUS day. We rented a car, greatly enjoyed the drive through desert country. We had a tasting with the owner at Deerhorn Valley and went back to Jamul for lunch, then back on 94 to stop at Dulzura and Campo Creek. Great wines and great people!
