A very nice 2.5 mile hike around lake takes you close to the water and through cool wooded areas. It's a very nice walk and not difficult. There are a couple up-down areas, just go slow and you'll be fine. We spotted many types of...More

The drive from Jackson Racheria to Lake Tabeud was 20 minutes. The roads off the highway are very narrow and there are blind curves and one spot over a bridge that's one lane only. It's an enjoyable drive and our GPS had us make a...More

We live nearby, and frequently visit this spot. My wife runs the roads and trails, our daughter bikes along with her, and I "power hike" like a maniac--with all of us having a great time. The picnic tables offer a great view of the water,...More

Beautiful lake. You cannot swim in it but people fish all the time. It is very quiet and just like you would picture a hidden mountain lake. We take our dog there and he loves it. It is a hidden gem.

No fee at all. Bring your kayak, hiking boots and/or fishing pole. They have pit toilets. They also have picnic tables and BBQ grills. It is beautiful, free and not very populated, as many people cannot find it.
