It's probably a good place for young kids up to 10 or 11 years old. it's a huge indoor place (near the Irvine spectrum). A great indoor activity day. Kids will enjoy all the different areas. Its exactly what the title says "pretend city" with a grocery store, bank, restaurant etc...

We've been to pretend city a handful of times over the years and my children always have so much fun! This last visit was a friend' birthday party. There was a wonderful party room for one hour and the kids had free play at the museum for the entire day after the party. It's basically an entire city all set... More

My wife and I took our young boys today and the place is very well run. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We stayed from late morning, had lunch there (you can bring your own food or buy from vending machines), and kids didn't want to leave until 4pm. They had such a great time. Definitely a great place... More

This is all indoor activity center for kids. It is tinier than the Please Touch Museum of Philly or the Garden State Museum too but it it full of activities. The kids can be busy upto 3-4 hours without the parents having to entertain them. The place is small enough that one can keep an eye without following the kids... More

Pretend City is literally a pint-size city for kids, with streets and a mini bank, food market, theater, etc. Especially good for toddlers and preschoolers. Have fun with your little ones!

We took our two grandchildren here on a weekday. The cost for the four of us was $50. I was expecting that the place would be very nice based on reviews that I saw, but frankly I was very disappointed. it is not that the place is bad, but rather that it (1) is not any better than other children's... Kids under the age of 10 will thoroughly enjoy. My son who is 8 got hands on learning about irrigation, checked out items at the grocery store, drove around as a police officer, and withdrew lots of money at the ATM... if only that were real money. Brilliant idea to have the kids stamp their cards to check out each... More

My daughter-in-law brought our year old granddaughter here last week. She had a ball. Lots of different activity areas. It is an indoor facility so it's a good rainy day place. Children under a year are free and over a year it is $12.50. It might seem a little pricey for a one year old but our little one spent... More

I took my almost 12 month old baby to this place. they have things for babies and have employees keep things neat at all time. I love the mini cars, pretend beach scene, mini houses with kitchen, bedrooms, living room inside, pretend stage with full lighting buttons that your toddlers can push for fun, kids can wear costumes, fake garden,... This is a great place for babies to learn and pretend to be us. I will not recommend this place for older than 5 years old, they will get bored.
