Not Dog Friendly
Aug 2021 • Friends
This brewery is absolutely Not dog friendly. The outside temperature can reach well above 100° and if you are on your way and stopping in to grab some beers this IS NOT a stop for you if you are traveling with your 4 legged friend. The shop has no postings on the brewery/shop doors stating that they only allow service dogs and if you bring your dog in, you will be rejected. Also be aware that they do allow people faking that they have a service dog (you know, the ones that walk around the store with no leash in their hands and shove their dog in your actual Service Dogs face stating that it is friendly and they should meet each other). So if you have a dog with you, do not stop. If you are going to visit, Do Not bring your dog.

Second time stopping here
Oct 2019
Was on our way north on Highway 14 and decided to stop here again. Both times we purchased some tasty beer. You can ask for samples to help you decided. They had a special and think there was one last time as well.

We were pulling a trailer but easily parked off the highway.

Great place!!
Jul 2019 • Couples
Indian Wells Brewing Company ended up being a fantastic stop to grab a drink, at least for the non-drivers. We were quite surprised a full functioning brewery offering some quality beers could be out in the middle of nowhere. Just looking through the interesting sodas named after famous people (Fidel Castro, Kim Jong-I’ll, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Judge Wapner among the more interesting ones) alone was entertaining. Good selection of IPA’s and fruit flavored beers were offered on tap and the five-beer flight was a good way for me to taste a few.

Great Brewery
Apr 2019 • Couples
My husband and I have been visiting this brewery when visiting Death Valley for about the last 6 years. They have great beer, great soda and great people working there. It's worth the drive to go there. We usually are in Death Valley for 2-3 weeks and stock up on our beer at Indian Wells. As far as their sodas, well if you can think of something, they most likely have it. The flavors are amazing. Definitely go there if you can!

Best soda on earth
Mar 2019 • Couples
We originally tried their soda as a pit stop on the way home from a trip many years ago. And we’ve had a repeat visit on our to do list for more than a decade.
Yes you can find many of their flavors at local stores. But nothing beats going to the source. We made a day trip of it and really loved the adventure! Our favorites: black cherry, green apple and root beer. So good. We bought 6 cases and went on our merry way.
There’s not much to see ... no tour of the brewery but there is a glass window at one of the bottling stations, which is fun to watch for a few minutes. And they do have many types of beer on tap (all house brewed). For us, the highlight was looking at all those crazy flavors and trying to decide which new ones to try after buying our firm 6 cases (2 cases each of black cherry, green apple and root beer).
There is ample parking and an adjacent restaurant. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Corn Hole and a Free Pint Glass
Jun 2018 • Friends
This is a great place to stop on the way up to Mammoth. They have a good selection of beer, I like their IPA. You get a free pint glass to take home when you order one there at the bar. They also have sodas and candy and a nice yard to drink them in while you play corn hole. The restaurant is nice too, it's cozy by the fire place.

Great beer and sodas
Oct 2018 • Solo
This is one of my favorite places to find unique Craft Beer and Craft Sodas. It's kind of fun and funky...great for a family visit. Well known for its Mojave Red beer, it has a very impressive list of not only beer, but also sodas. My favorites are Whiskey Barrel Amber and Orange Blossom Amber on the beer side. As for sodas, I'm partial to Sour Green Apple. Rose is always friendly and helpful, as are all the staff I've met. I could watch the bottling machines run for hours!

Brewer of 20+ beers, and even more unique flavored sodas
Jun 2018 • Couples
Not a big place. You sit at the counter or outside and can get a beer on tap or buy a bottle and drink it. Very little food, so you can bring your own. I had the sampler and got to pick the 8 (?) sample flavors. The lemonade at 15% alcohol was really sweet. Other beers seemed to be light in flavor. My husband, the driver, had a peanut butter and jelly flavored soda. He really liked it. My favorite beer was the beer aged in old whiskey barrels, but pricey. Good quick stop for a drink.

Way out their but worth the stop.
Jun 2018 • Solo
They have a nice selection of craft beers, huge craft soda along with rocket fizz sodas & a unique candy selection too. I bought several selections of soda & a case of the ipa. I'm not an ipa fan but their's was great. You can also get $5 off your purchase if you sign up your email on the card. It was 2hrs from Wasco & a nice scenic drive from Lake Isabella. Will stop again on my return trip to Cali.
