My father grew up on this beach. It is awesome, but primitive. Bring all your supplies, there are no stores, grills, tables, etc... A true beach with no glitz or glam. a perfect hideaway.

The reserve is just off Pacific Coast Highway and Warner in Huntington Beach. It's a nice walk where you will see several Snowy Egrets, ducks and other birds. The trail is very flat and not too bad after a rain. However, the rain does bring in some trash. I take my camera with a 18-300mm (not a serious wildlife lens)... More

This is a nice place to get a way from the surrounding chaos of HB and see the birds. The birds with wings:). It's right off PCH and easy to park. A nice place to take a date or kids... Bring your camera.

This is a great place to go for a relaxing walk - whether you are a visitor or live locally. It was recently renovated/updated and protected so that more wildlife will come back and more people can quietly observe them in natural settings.

This is an especially delightful place to walk with easy trails and interesting signage. Bird watchers will be in heaven watching all the different varieties. There are many knowledgeable locals who walk here and are willing to help you identify some of the many species. There is also a piece of history here - a gun emplacement from World War... More

As part of your OC visit, this is a nice place to come to. It's only short drive from HB and also great for hobby photographers.

If visiting any of our So. Cal beaches and you need a place to jog or walk try the Bolsa Chica Reserve. I walk or jog this path every morning. The sunrise is spectacular, the birds and fish are abundant. Its peaceful and a place to reflect.

Beautiful walk on nice and marked trails. We saw Blue Harons, Sting Rays, and plenty of different birds and fish. Beautiful wetlands and nice trails.

This is a nice, easy walk with various starting places (the parking spots on PCH and Warner can fill up quickly). If those are full, park on Brightwater (residential neighborhood). Every time we do we always see cranes, terns, herons, etc. At the PCH starting point there is a wooden bridge that crosses. From here you can see straight down... More
