This is a great spot to watch birds and fish as you walk all around the reserve. I highly suggest parking on Warner Av rather than PCH if possible. Both parking lots are free.

Such a great natural respite from the traffic and crowds in the area! 2 free parking lots, one on Warner near the PCH and one on the PCH near Bolsa Chick beach. The bridge from the PCH lot is closed off by a fence for...More

This is not too far away from where we live. I'd actually seen it driving by there quite a few times. I wasn't sure what it was. As right at the corner of Warner and PCH is a little trailer type building with a field...More

One of most favorite places to visit in Southern California. For birding photographers, its an absolute must see. The terns and other sea birds make flybys as close range and are always diving right off the boardwalk. I have seen several uncommon birds here as...More

City nature fix in this high population area. This is my favorite walk. Mixture of Ocean, Marsh, and green views with plenty of birds and beautiful trees. Spend an hour on a loop walk. Can’t get lost Free parking

The Bolsa Chica wetlands is a very nice little protected area. It's not very big area with a small parking lot off of PCH for about 15 cars. The walking bridge takes you across the salt water back bay. If you start at the parking...More

Not very busy, especially during the week. However on the weekends, it is more crowded especially with locals bird watching.
