Arghhh, have been a So. Cal beach goer all of my life; hadn't been to Bolsa Chica for a few years, went yesterday ... LOVE it because it's easy to get to, usually not crowded, and the BEST reason: the parking is very close to...More

I lived in the Harbor years ago. The beach was pristine. Now that is a state beach is truly a disaster. Bottles and trash everywhere.... lower class of people with no manners. Bathroom so dirty that I almost got sick 😷

This place is great to bring children, friends, or a date! There is a lot of sticks and wood chips around so be careful when walking. Great place to wade in the water, have a bonfire, and relax. No alcohol and no closed tents permitted....More

We went for 3 days/2 nights in our motorhome mid-week in July. Beach was basically empty except for the surf school 200 yards in one way and the jr. lifeguard bunch 200 yards the other way - it was great, nothing like Newport or Balboa....More

Beautiful beach with plenty of area for surfing, swimming and just lounging in the sand. There is a fee but the cost is well worth the experience. The best part was watching the dolphins interact with the surfers. Great place to relax for the day

Spaces are pretty tight and quiet hours are not observed. Camped next to the one neighbors who were the Camp party group. They were warned but nobody ever did anything about them. They were rude and discourteous. We didn't mind them being somewhat loud till...More

$15 parking. Only one place to get food, "Sea Salt." It took over 30 minutes to get a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich and fries for $28. Beach has lots of trash mixed into the sand. Felt more like Tijuana than Orange County.

My husband and I were driving up PCH for a little beach time and stopped to visit the pier. In the winter you can see farther and when there are storms the clouds are interesting. We enjoyed the crisp air and sunny skies. There were...More
