Huntington Central Park is an oasis in the middle of the city and county. It has walking trails and places to relax to enjoy peace and quiet. Huntington Beach Central Park is the largest city-owned park in Orange County covering over 350 acres of land. Whenever you wanna take a break from the beach and city life come to HB Central Park. I really enjoyed my time there. Sitting in the sun (or in the shade if you want to) watching folks walk their dogs relaxing from your day. A real oasis in the middle of the city to escape the city (actually nobody wants... More

I attended a dog rescue event in the park and had never been to CENTRAL PARK before. I didn't realize how big it was and how beautiful it was. There are a sports complex and library but I wasn't sure if they were part of the park or just adjacent to it. They have the Shipley Nature Center with limited... More

This is a very large park right in the heart of HB where the family can picnic without the beach crowds. Nice paths for a peaceful stroll, although it is prettier when the water level in he lake iHhhigher, a victim of the drought.

This is a very large park in the center of Huntington Beach. It has a little bit of everything to offer from a dog park and frisbee golf to a library and running path. You can even park your RV here overnight in a paid parking section.

over the past few years we have been in a bad drought. the lake and river that surrounds the place has almost dried up. Huntington Beach has also allowed a sizable homeless community to take refuge there. for the first time I saw lots of trash. I'm trying to organize a city cleanup day and work with a shelter to... locals loved this little gem in HB - NO IT"S NOT NYC Central park -but it'll do for us. joggers, bicycles, dog walkers[ most do put up after their dogs ] all share the 7- ft wide, asphalt pathways surrounding the perimeter and there's narrower 5 ft paths , to shorter paths inside... plenty of grass and a nice pod...
