About
Tickets sell out almost instantaneously for Tomorrowland, thanks to its reputation as one of the world’s biggest celebrations of electronic music, playing host to performances from techno to house, dance to trance. Now in its 11th year and notorious for its 15 wackily decorated stages and hypnotic lightshows, the festival is held in Boom, near Antwerp, and attracts a laid-back crowds of tens of thousands.

It’s an experience everyone should have in their lifetime! The way the festival is organised is amazing considering the lakhs of people attending it! It’s basically Disneyland for EDM lovers! Even if you are not into EDM one can go for the vibe of the place and the amazing production value it offers! We attended as a group of friends and had the time of our lives! We had taken the comfort pass which provided dedicated access to elevated decks at main stage/ freedom stage and library stage with good vantage points. Other than that there was not much value the comfort pass has to offer and easily the regular pass is good enough as well. I would recommend comfort pass to the ladies as it gives access to cleaner and better bathrooms in the comfort areas and can avoid longer ques. If you are thinking of going, stop thinking and just go!

Those who like techno will celebrate this festival. Everything just fits. If I was sure I would get tickets, I could already say that I would be back next year. I was there by car or my husband dropped me off at the Kiss&Ride parking lot WEST. Since nothing could learn about it in advance, here information, for visitors who also arrive by car: if you are early enough, you may be able to park directly on the N177. You pass it again on the way back anyway and can start from there directly on the A12 homeward. The Kiss&Ride parking lot WEST - by the way at the Heilig Hartkerk - is about 6 km from the Schommelei (which seems shorter). Within the grounds you walk another 1 km to the festival. On the site itself, everything is pretty close together. You're slain because of the nested paths. But everything is wonderfully signposted on light boards and after 12 hours you know your way around.

Having seen videos and listened to One World Radio by accident, Tomorrowland was on my husband’s bucket list. Were we too old at 69 and 64 years old respectively? No. In fact I was assuring 30 year olds they were not too old. Was it worth going? Absolutely. If you love electronic dance music and the vibe that goes with it this is the festival for you. It may seem expensive but you get what you pay for. No traipsing through mud if it rains - all the access paths are boarded. Every little detail has been thought of by the organisers - even the toilets smell nice (courtesy this year of Old Spice , (Tomorrowland fragrance ) and their lovely reps) who offered free antiperspirant and sunscreen at the ticket blocks. Amazing music, lovely people, food and drink stalls open after the music finishes for the night, amazing first aid ‘we are here to help , not to judge ‘, it was a fabulous weekend. Granted it is difficult to get tickets in the open sale, we went with a travel partner ‘As you like it Festivals’ and were camping in the Friendship Garden’, highly recommended! Would we go again? Absolutely!

Overall the theatrics and music was amazing. My complaints are around customer service and general processes. First if you are coming from Antwerp by train it is a 30 minute or more walk every day. 2 times a day to get to the festival entrance and back. If the organization offered a shuttle service I’m sure people would pay to use it. Next the lines to get your bracelet are so long and not to mention you are standing in the heat for hours. I had a friend who stayed in line and when he got to the front counter was told he was at the wrong counter and had to walk another 30 minutes to the other side, at which point he ended up fainting due to heat and exhaustion. Additionally, some peoples bracelets did not work and after waiting an hour in line to get their bracelet they had to wait another hour to fix it. Having more people to direct you where to go from the beginning instead of forcing people to wait in line for customer service would fix this. The next thing is the pearls system. This is the festival currency. I didn’t even know about the refund process until the end of the festival. It was written in small text on a peace of paper at the manual refill counter but there was nothing about a “deadline”. After a month and a half of enjoying the rest of summer I went to look to see if i could get a refund. when i reached out to customer service their simple response, was “is it was posted online there is nothing we can do about it.” Which I find complete BS. For an organization that already charges extremely high prices for tickets, food and drinks this to me is extremely unreasonable and clearly a money grab.

We were with a wheelchair user, we were told there were parking spaces provided, which was not the case
No clear communication around parking
And absolutely not wheelchair accessible, it was on the good will of the other people that we could continue
NO adapted toilet for wheelchair users, although they say they do (there were only 2) on the whole domain!......
Also the toilets in general are very dirty and filthy, for such a luxury construction of tomorrowland with so many stages that should be possible, they were not cleaned either you really literally stand on the dirt

Drink, food was very good, you didn't have to wait long to be served

For the wheelchair users it is not easy to get to the performances, either there were stairs, or that it was so packed and very close to the mass of people that there was no dying and the people are really not friendly in that
Why can't wheelchair users have their own platform where they can enjoy the performances together with their supervisors and not be pushed away in cash, that it is only accessible from one side
Wheelchairs stand low he the ground, when people stand in front of them they see nothing
I would really appreciate it that work is being done on this and with all the innovation that is being used, surely that should not be difficult??

What an experience. My wife & I had been trying for years to get here and we finally got here after getting our tickets in January 2020 only for covid to kick in and put festivals on hold but after waiting so long it was great to finally dance non stop for 3 days.

The joy, atmosphere, music and the energy of this place is something else. Words will fail to describe it and getting there only makes you want to go back again. In all the festivals I have been to in my life this is by far the best festival ever.

Everything is organised in great detail. You can't get lost. Signs for the stages, exits, global journey transfers, public transport areas and Dreamville are displayed constantly.

The detail in the festival architecture and surroundings is breathtaking.

The festival use their own currency called pearls and this is a great idea so they won't use cash unless you go to a booth to swap cash for pearls on your bracelet.

They had plenty of areas to choose from to eat or get drinks and if you got a bite to eat it was impressive that there was always somewhere to sit considering the size of the site.

Even outside the toilets they had deodorants at hand to freshen you up.

Great Stages, great Dj's, fantastic atmosphere and a disappointment (even after 3 days) it had to end. This is how life should be for all ages :)

At one time the the festival was great, now it seems it’s all about the money and screwing the people who pay a ton to be there, also their customer service ia terrible. They scam you every chance they have and screw you on your travel and flights if you don’t take a portion of your global journey.

We were told by one agent we could cancel our inbound flight and still take the shuttle to and from the festival. Seeing as we had already paid a significant amount for the inbound portion of the flight they were getting for free. We then went to confirm the times and locations and were told we weren’t able to take the shuttle because we cancelled our inbound flight and would have to pay another €30 per person to get the shuttle we already paid for. This isn’t a big deal but when you’ve paid €2200 for your tickets it’s a bit annoying to have them bill you again for something you’ve paid for already.

Overall I can say this will be the last year I will be supporting Tomorrowland and I hope they severely fail in the coming years so they start to focus on the people and less on the money.

This was my second time to Tomorrowland, and I loved it just as much as the first time! I last went in 2017 and stayed in Magnificent Greens camping which was brilliant! Meet heaps of new people, only thing is you gotta pay for warm showers etc but it's hot enough just use the cold ones outside. 2019 I went with my partner, met up with our friends from Brisbane Australia, Canada, and the UK, aswell as meeting again with other groups of friends we made the previous time from the USA and Dubai! 2019 we upgraded our accommodation and went with the Easy Tent area, with pre set up tents and mattresses etc and our own shower/toilet areas and a shorter walk to the gate. People did have trouble with tent break ins etc but fortunately we didn't have this issue, and we also had an on-site locker where we kept most of our stuff except the clothes and toiletries we were using. The food and drink options both in the festival gates and in the Marketplace are amazing with options from all different country cuisines. They also have the option of hair and makeup services for you to have done too. Then there is the festival... unlike any other experience, performers and a acrobats around every turn, amazing stage designs and detail, the world's best DJs and more stages than you know what to do with. Hot tip is on Day 1; go as soon as the gates open, walk around and see every stage and really take it in as there is so much to see. Then at least you see it before getting caught up in the magic as by the end of day 3 you realize you only saw 4 stages out of all of them. Everyone is super lovely, happy to help out and all there for the same reason, the music, the atmosphere, and to dance together. Incomparable to anything else I've experienced, made new friends every time, and look forward to the next one!

The festival itself is finished as usual! We had a very nice day and look forward to next year. However, we used the parking ‘park&bike’ for the first time and jumped on our bikes. There was suspiciously little crowd in this parking lot. When we returned, there were only 20 cars in this parking lot, there was no security anymore and we found the bike ride anything but safe. Dark, between bushes and bushes without lights, we really didn't feel safe. I was really glad my husband was there... he didn't think it was safe either.
Find another solution next year.

I ordered a shirt from the tomorrow land store. Even though I selected a "next day" shipment term and paid extra for it, the delivery reqched the hotel a week after i left the country. Approaching their customer service was useless. The representative referrd me to the small prints saying that the company takes zero responsibility for late delivery.

Don't buy in this store ever

Crappy service. I can not go because I have a major competition which I didn't know beforehand. Asked if I could sell it to another person, but not possible. Asked for a refund. Not possible. Didn't even reply to my last e-mail. Last year, I worked for free. Never doing that again. Very sad since someone else could be really happy with the tickets. I myself work at the client service. So yes I know how it could be. And this is definitely not it. Never again.

Perfectly organized from start to finish! 90% of festivals could learn a thing or two from that!! I've never eaten so well at a festival!! Really nice people, whether at the drinks stands or the food stands when checking in or out!! The stages are amazing!! The main stage is a highlight anyway!!! Huge festival grounds! I could go on forever! You have to see it! It was worth every cent!! I'll definitely be back!
