Silverwood is a great day trip. you can camp there also. Going for the day is very relaxing. Not much lawns but a lot of trees and trails. there is a camp store and snack bar for convenience.take a couple lawn chairs and enjoy the day....after they clear up the lake!(08/2016 has some bacteria problem)

We invited a bunch of friends with children for a day of boating/tubing. This lake was awesome. We usually go to Lake Perris but the last few trips there have been horrible, the park rangers were grumpy and downright rude. That is not the case at Silverwood Lake! Every ranger and employee we encountered was pleasant, helpful and friendly! What... More

Tried this lake out for the day an was ok. A really small beach area. But a really big lake. There should be more Lake area dedicated to swimming. Camp grounds are over grown with vegetation. U have to explore the grounds completely inside and out to really find the spot that suits u. It's worth driving around the entire... More

What an amazingly fun place! As a child I recall fishing camping and biking at this park. As a young adult, when my children were young we brought them to wave ride and hangout. Now as a grandparent, I bring my granddaughter to the beach to play and frolic. What a enjoyable cross generational place for all activities.

There is a beach area for swimming, the rest of the lake is used for boating. You can fish here but you'll need a state license. The beach area does have paddle boats, and a snack bar.

It´s a great place for a relaxing day out of the city traffic. The Lake is a fine fishing and recreational area. It´s possible to enjoy the hiking trails or fish from the shore.
