I like railroads and watching the adjacent railway action on the BNSF Cajon Subdivision is one of the great attributes of this park. Understand there are fish in the lakes and horseback riding rentals, but who would want to do that when the action of BNSF, Union Pacific and Amtrak trains is almost non-stop!

Not a choice location, however the awesome staff and the clean campground keep us coming back. Year after Year. We started camping there when it was $ 7.00 a night for camping. Walk in mind you. We didn't care. You couldn't beat it for the price. Here in So. Cali anyway. Now it is $ 25 to 30 a night... More

I wrote the San Bernardino Parks and Recreation Department... More

The Mojave River regional park is a nice area that provides you with more trees and shrubbery than most desert camping sites, and is located on the way up to Silverwood Lake and the San Bernardino Mountains. Nice sites, plenty of shade, and centrally located to go into town if needed. A nice get-a-way if you don't want to drive... More

Lots of space, quiet, nice scenery. I'd rather stay here than Silverwood. Nice rangers and no one bothers you. Clean bathrooms, hook-ups.

It is the cleanest campground ever! It even has showers! Beautiful view of the Mountains, close to Silverwood Lake, Hesperia Lakes, several hiking trails near by. Big night skies... quiet! I loved it!
