This hands on museum has many different areas. The younger kids Loved the store and the police car and motorcycle. The older kids Liked the climbing wall and the Dinosaur bone dig. Close to home and fun for my kids.

When my now 12 year old autistic grandson was 4, I used to take him here. He always had a good time. The last time I took him there and 3 of my other grandkids, was in 2014 Halloween night for trunk or treat.Local businesses decorated the trunks of their cars, or trucks or vans and gave out safe candy and treats to trick or treaters. It was free, but if you "donated" $1.50 per child, they were fed hotdogs, chips and drinks. They even got to play in the "museum". It has lots of fun, hands on things to touch and play on, from young toddlers to elementary school age kids. Lots of learning things to do, but the kids just think they're playing. I don't know how much admission is now, but it used to be $5.00 for anyone entering, even the adults. I used to buy their annual passes since we went often. They're always improving and adding to the museum.
Kids can dig for dinosaur bones, play Dr in a Dr's office, be a news caster , be a store cashier, bagger and/or customer. Play in the ambulance, police car, police motorcycle, fire truck. Learn about earthquakes and how water gets from the water plant to our home faucets. Look thru the giant kaleidoscope and many other fun stuff to do . They even have a play area for the very young toddlers. And there's a small rock climbing wall. They have an eating area and they offer birthday party packages. As of right now, it's $100.00 for up to 25 people. My daughter is having my little grandson's 1st birthday there in May 2016.

This museum had a little of everything. Indoor slides for under 5. Police car, Police motorcycle, ambulance, fire truck, trash truck. I took 2 3 year olds and they played more than if we were at a park. It's $5.00 to get in, but definitely worth it. They had little shops a Wal-mart with carts, a doctors office, a Vet's office. A lot of hands on things for the kids. Great experience.

The director sided with an obnoxious customer over a trivial misunderstanding (me politely asking the customer to keep her phone conversation at a lower volume just long enough for me to video my kids). The director participated within earshot with the customer ranting and raving about us. The director even commented to her that "some people just don't have a life" as the lunatic raved on and on. We got past it all quickly and had fun. The raving lady continued to bad mouth us while NOT WATCHING HER KID! Very unprofessional "director."

Aside from this bad episode, the place was generally fun for a small town, lower-end hands-on kids' place, but it could use a more thorough cleaning.

Took my 3yr old there for her birthday & she's been asking to return ever since. We could probably spend a few hours there. They even have a lunch area if you bring your own lunch. There are quite a few interactive scenes & my total really enjoyed it.

This is a good place to take the kids if you don't want to leave town. Has many things for a child to do, however, they can go through the hands-on items rather quickly: it's a fairly small place. Best for smaller children - would say ages 3-8.

This is a great place to take kids. Every child I know who has gone loves this experience. This is especially good for younger children and early elementary.

Well done and you can easily spend 1/2 a day exploring all the touch and feel goodies here. I love taking my grand daughter here when she comes for a visit. More educational than just going to the park to play....but like to do both on occassion.
