Well organized, courteous staff, optional horse rides, ample parking. Very enjoyable fall family outing. Be prepared to spend at least a couple of hours

Overall we had a fantastic time here - loads of stuff for kids to do!
Pros: so many activities for the kids, interaction with animals, non stop fun outdoors, very interactive and able to come and go as you please between activities, great for younger age group but enough that even adults can have fun.
Cons: There is very little shade, I recommend going in the cooler seasons. It was extremely busy on the nice sunny fall day we went - be prepared for crowds. Only two bathroom stalls per gender which seemed very low considering the amount of people, expect to wait in line. If you are worried about germs this may not be the place for you. Kids everywhere, handling everything etc. Bathroom very basic, not very clean. Low staff, only saw maybe half a dozen staff when we were there which compared to the amount of people there seems really low.
All that being said - overall still really recommend going, kids guaranteed to have a blast!

Since this Ranch is for children ,In my opinion the average family cannot afford this. For myself,my wife and two young grandchildren it was the best part of 100.00

On August 24th my wife and I arranged a playdate as a birthday gift for my mother and her friend. My mom turned 89 and her friend was 96. They love flowers.
Ken Rounds, the owner personally took them out to the sunflower fields with over 700 varieties of sunflowers. We stopped at the Lavender field first where Ken allowed the ladies to prune their own lavender and bag them for a take away. We then got to the Sunflowers and they were ecstatic - my moms favorite was the Lemon Sunflowers. Ken personally picked a bouquet for my mother and we picked one for her friend. They were ecstatic.
Ken is very knowledgeable - educated with an Agra degree from Guelph University and he was very kind and patient with all of us.
The staff was incredible - Kathy who helped set this up and every person we met - well trained, patient and very upbeat.
Picnic area and bathrooms were sanitized regularly.
I discovered that Ken and his wife only want to ensure that the experience exceeds expectations - and it did.
Fantastic experience and will come again and again.

We enjoyed a very hot August Day during the sunflower festival with my 7 and 3 year old at Rounds Ranch. Lots to do and very interactive. If crowds stress you out due to covid some areas will be more stressful than others. While there are some protocols around rides and activities being contained to one household at a time, other areas like the petting zoo are a bit of a free for all, and if your on the more nervous side you may want to have masks on during this.
We mainly enjoyed the trip to the sunflower and lavendar field but was very hot which cut into some of the enjoyment.
My 7 year old loved the water slide but my 3 year old was not big enough for it, would love to have seen more water options for the little guys on hot days. There is an indoor mist maze but wasn't his thing.
My biggest suggestion (and reason for 4 not 5 stars) is to bring your own food. I was 4th in line when I ordered lunch so did expect there might be a bit of a wait, but we ended up waiting for about 40 minutes for our burgers and fries and then having to have my kids eat fast because of a pre-scheduled pony ride. I realize many are short staffed and doing the best they can, but if I went again I would bring my own food to not cut into our enjoyment of the park.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and we overall really enjoyed ourselves. Personally we will probably save future visits for cooler fall days, but that's just a personal preference :).

I went to Rounds Ranch on the weekend with my mom and step-dad. It was a beautiful day the weather was great. Rounds Ranch was a fun place for families.
There was a lot of activities to do at the farm. The pedal cars were great for every age including adults. The playground was more for children and they even had 2 zip lines. The Buckaroo bouncer was good for all ages and lots of fun. You could also go on a tractor ride to pick your own sunflowers. I think this part was more for the adults to enjoy. We didn't try the food because we packed our own lunch. We heard from our friends that it was expensive and it was just OK, nothing special.
Overall, Rounds Ranch gets a 7/10. I'm not sure the what the target age demographic is but I'm 11 and really enjoyed it. I also think that younger children would also like it too.
Thanks for checking out Gradin' with Brayden. Au revoir!

Our grandkids were a little young to fully appreciate and use all the activity stations - 3 years old - but they still had a great time. Ages 5-8 would be the prime ages for this place although something for a bit older and a bit younger. Warning though, not much shade here at all so hot days bring lots of water, sunscreen and hats.
The place is a little disorganized with some stations only being available when a staff member there but you never know when a staff member will or will not be there...but it isn't that large a spot so you just keep an eye out.
Pony rides $7 extra but well worth it for little ones...I would suggest it would be disappointing in terms of experience and duration for most older kids >8 years..but little kids it is great.
Take the 1 hour tractor and wagon tour out to the fields and pick a sunflower...the owner led our group ...very nice and forthright man and a bit of honest information. I was originally a bit peeved that the water slippery slide or whatever it is..it is quite long and looks fun...was closed even though you still pay full price.
Bring your own food....the "cookhouse" food was hot dogs (nothing special) and hamburgers (not good) with fries (looked really good but lukewarm to cool and didn't taste great...prices were pretty steep. . I was also originally disappointed that there were some busloads of day campers there the day we went it really wasn't an issue.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We always strive to improve the way we do things at the Ranch for a better customer experience, so we appreciate your input. We are implementing new shaded areas that will be good for little ones and adults to get out of the heat and to rest a bit while the kids play. We run the farm on a rotation of activities led by staff, following a schedule. Everyone receives a sheet of paper when they arrive at the Ranch telling them when the activities will be run. This is so everyone can experience all the activities. We do offer horse rides for the older ones and pony/ horse experiences for a more interactive and longer time with the animals.
The Slip N' Slide is a new feature that we had added to the Ranch. It was never included in our admission price. I apologize that it wasn't open when you came - we were waiting on approvals from the township. The price for the Slip N' Slide when we open it up this summer will be 8.50+hst in addition to our admission. With this you will be able to ride the slide as much as you want! We are also adding some new features to the farm that will be included in admission.
I apologize about the food from the cookhouse. I'm not sure what happened, we take pride in our food that we have here as some pretty good hot eats! We would like to invite you to come back to the Ranch on us! We can offer you two free passes that you can use in the Summer. We are confident that you will have an amazing time when you come to visit us again.
Please send me an email at ger@roundsranch.com and we can arrange for your free passes.

We went in summer to visit the sunflowers festival, they are incredible, they have more than 5 varieties of sunflowers in a single crop, from small to very large and very tall, we also enjoy the corn maze, a bit of kart racing. The burgers are delicious, finally we tried a little dance from the west it was a lot of fun

We usually come a few times a year and this is one of my kids (6&9 )favourite places. There is so much to do! We usually come at opening and then close the place down too. You can pack a picnic lunch and there is a nice covered barn area to relax and get a break from the sun. I feel that the value for money spent is good - although they should have a discounted rate for the parents as really I’m just there to chaperon the kiddies.
We went when the water slide was available and it was so much fun! Really hoping they get the permits in place so we can enjoy again next summer too.
