I have long recognized that the success of a product often has nothing to do with how good the product is. Valdez wines are terrific. His Syrah is wonderful as are many of his other wines. Unfortunately the tasting room is as dull as can...More

This is a family deeply rooted in farming grapes in the Alexander Valley and the Russian River Valley. Many notable winemakers and wineries choose the Valadez family to manage their vineyards to optimize excellence in their grapes. Now the Valdez family has chosen to make...More

Neat place with friendly staff. We talked to the owner and got to hear about the history of the wines. Enjoyed the pinot here.

Great story of success from immigrant to wine owner. Family run tasting room that is efficient and friendly. Wines were okay - and a little pricey. I thought the Chardonnay was the best - and nice California style chard - but at $35 a bottle...More

They were only pouring certain wines, didn't care they we were there to try their Zin's. Not overly friendly, drab tasting room.

The wines were outstanding, and a very good QPR. The St. Peters Church Zinfandel particularly stood out. The Valdez daughters were maning the tasting room during our visit and they were engaging and welcoming. Highly recommend for the wines and the experience.
