We stayed 6 days in the area and this was our favorite tour that we did. I loved the small group size. It was just our group of 6 people. Dave and Amber were our guides and they were absolutely amazing!!!! Amber is such an inspiration with her weight loss story and dedication. Dave is so knowledgeable of the area and made sure that everyone in our group was enjoying themselves. It was a friends 40th birthday and Dave and Amber went all out!!! They prepared a special lunch complete with a handmade birthday card and our friends favorite desserts. This was truly a perfect day! I feel like Dave will be our friend for life!…

My wonderful best friends and husband worked together to plan my surprise 40th birthday trip to California. For months, they worked together to plan some amazing experiences. I literally didn’t even know which part of the state we were traveling to until the day we flew out! While the entire trip was amazing, my very favorite part of the trip was our biking and winery adventure. The entire day was perfect! Dave and Amber had every detail organized and ready we’ll before we arrived. The beauty of the ride along Dry Creek Road was breathtaking!!! Dave and Amber were extremely knowledgeable about the wine-making process and shared many interesting details with us. We visited 2 amazing wineries along our 22-mile trek. As it was my birthday, Dave and Amber had set up some birthday extras in our lunch experience. The food they made was amazing; Amber even included tomatoes out of her own garden for the pasta salad! The entire crew thoroughly enjoyed the day. The biking experience, the views, the company, the wine, the picnic - all of it just made for the best day ever! 10/10 recommendation this tour, and we definitely would love to do it again if (when!!!) we return to the area!…

Fantastic day in Healdsburg! Met our guide Matthew at Healdsburg City Hall and took our electric bikes out to the Dry Creek Vineyard and on to Rued Vineyard. The weather was perfect, wine excellent, and the picnic lunch Matthew laid out for us at Rued was terrific. A leisurely ride back into Healdsburg, and the afternoon was a success! Highly recommended!…

My wife booked this tour well before our trip and everything about it was perfect. Dave, the owner, met us at our hotel at the appointed time to start our tour. When we came out of the hotel, he already had the bikes set up and ready to go. The bikes are e-bikes which enables almost everyone to keep up and provides some welcome assistance on the inclines and in the afternoon after a few hours of biking and a couple of vineyards. Although it appears from these reviews that there are other tour leaders that work with Dave; I would suggest confirming that Dave will be your guide when you book. To clarify, I have had no experience with any guide other than Dave, but he was so good that it's hard to see how someone else could measure up. As we headed off through town and the countryside, Dave made us feel like old friends as he imparted his knowledge of the area. At the first winery we visited; we were treated to a tasting in a lounge tucked away in the back of the winery. Dave seemed to know everyone here from the greeter at the front gate to the Manager which only made things smoother. We purchased several bottles of wine here and Dave generously allowed us to use his wine club member status discount. Upon leaving the lounge, and meeting Dave in the adjacent picnic area, we were treated to a gourmet homemade lunch. A starter cheese and charcuterie board was followed by a fresh salad and grilled salmon and chicken. All was served on a tablecloth and non-disposable plates and silverware. Feeling refreshed after a lovely lunch, we got back on the bikes and headed out to our second winery - a completely different but equally delightful experience. At some point, my wife had mentioned her love of chocolate so, as we were leaving, Dave gave her a gourmet chocolate bar. Throughout the day, we learned about Dave and his family and he learned about us. By the time we rolled back onto the rounds of our hotel in the late afternoon, it truly seemed like we had known Dave for years and were saying goodbye to an old friend. This is an activity not to be missed when in Sonoma!…

We thoroughly enjoyed our ride with Matt from Adventures in Cycling. The planning of the day, the style of the ride, the wineries and the food were great. Matt knew the area and offered some great insight during our travels. We did this as a couple and it exceeded our expectations. If you want to spend a special day while in Healdsburg then join AIC for a ride. We will return again for another ride and some new wineries.…
