Before the drought, this was our go to Father's Day adventure. Hopefully the river will continue to hold enough water for more adventures! The prices are reasonable, and the pull off places for lunch and swimming are delightful.

I had a great moment with my friends who organize this adventure two days before their wedding. The view on beautiful houses next to the river. Relaxing and fun! If you around you should do it! Go!!!!

The river was shallow, but running well. The inflatables were impossible to turn over, although tricky to keep straight. The day drifting down the river was fun and a great change of pace. The crew was attentive. Worth doing.

There are several Russian River outfitters. RRA did a fine job for us and didn't make us wait around too long at either end--one of the major problems with this sort of thing. Generally we recommend heading down river from Memorial Beach towards the coast--not doing the shorter trip from Alexander Valley to Memorial beach which is more developed

My husband and I cannot say eough good things about russian river adventures! The staff is top notch and so friendly. They provide a dry bag for your stuff and the instructions are simple and easy to understand! Even if you have never rafted a river before they give you the tools to ensure a fun and safe trip! We... We did the "half day" adventure which really only takes about an hour and a half unless you stop along the way. It is a very easy float requiring paddling only to steer the inflatable canoe. (The canoes are flat bottoms and so steering straight must constantly be adjusted with gentle paddling.) The adventure starts out at the Russian River... More

Having never explored the Northern California area, I found that this was a great way to see parts of the area that the locals love. The company was wonderful and provided us with a dry bag and a cooler to use during our time on the river. The instructions were simple and the route was beautiful. We are not an... More

Just did this full day trip yesterday (7/23/14) with my 9 year old and 11 year old boys, plus my friend and her 9 & 6 year old boys. We had a blast! They gave us 2 canoes so that one adult could be in each canoe. (At some points we had all 4 boys in one canoe without us... More

Booked the full day trip for my dog and uncle. Made the drive up to beautiful Healdsburg from the Bay Area. There was food to purchase through RRA, but that was $18 a sandwich. We decided to pack our sandwiches and beer. We made our way from the meeting area to the beach which was about a 10 minute walk.... More

Really nice people. Offered us coolers and dry bags. Told us where we could go to get lunch before we launched. Gave us tips and instructions. Great trip took about 5 hours. Great day on the water. We didn't get in the water because it was too cold but some people did.
