Our group of 8 rented bicycles from Getaway Adventures. Our bicycles were ready for us when we arrived and we were able to start cycling the afternoon that we flew in from Canada. The staff were so helpful with advice on where to ride and places to visit. They were also extremely quick to drive out and meet us when we called with a flat tire. We enjoyed three wonderful days of cycling and wine/food touring. We can't wait to come back. I would highly recommend Getaway Adventures if you are looking for rental bicycles. I'm sure their tours would be amazing as well given how knowledgeable they all are!

Great place to rent bikes. Staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. First day we rented regular bikes and ride through the Alexander valley. Beautiful but difficult ride at times due to heat, wind, and hills. The second rental day we upgraded to e-bikes and WOW!!! My husband and I are experienced ebike riders and they were the perfect way to get some exercise but to still enjoy the vineyards. We used the e-bikes on the West Dry Creek Road and on Westside road to the top of the Russian River Valley. Would recommend e-bikes I’m this area for all but the most experienced and I shape riders. The bikes were top of the line specialized bikes and came equipped with wine storage and cellphone holders.

Although we've been to Healdsburg many times, this was our first time renting e-bikes from Getaway Adventures. The owner (or manager on duty) was phenomenal. He was able to recommend a whole menu of cycling routes (as well as wineries, but our group of 4 had no plans to day-drink). He couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We were geared up very quickly and went on our way. The route we chose based on his advice was stunning and truly the quintessential laidback Sonoma County backroads experience. When we chatted again upon our return, after a 40-mile day, he was able to provide lots of explanations for things we'd seen as well as a great place to purchases groceries for dinner (Big John!). Another huge bonus was the ability to sign the waiver and do all the paperwork online, upon reserving. Nothing to do when you check in! So easy and friendly. We loved it and couldn't recommend it more highly! Thank you @getawayadventures!

We had a fabulous day when we rented a couple of e-bikes from Getaway Adventures. The bikes were ready, new and clean. We rode the suggested route which incorporated a 1,000 ft elevation to the overlook of Lake Sonoma. We wouldn’t have attempted this climb on regular road bikes. Thanks so much for an amazing last day of our vacation. We will be back!

What a great adventure! We rented bikes from Healdsburg Wine Country Bikes and road up West Dry Creek Road. My wife was very nervous, not having ridden a bike for 30 years, but the e-bike we got for her was perfect. I got the hybrid which was also very comfortable to ride (typically ride road bikes). We road up to Bella Vineyards and Wine Caves and back. We had a great time and what beautiful scenery. We picked up sandwiches at Dry Creek general store for lunch, and did a wine tasting at Dry Creek winery. Great food and great wines. Amazing time all-around.

We did a tour with Santino where we biked for 5 miles, visited a family winery in the Russian river Ava , andwe did a kayak tour on the Russian River. Santina was fantastic. This is the second year in a row where we have used getaway tours. Santino took care of lunch, he set up thebicycles which are new bikes and reliable. Overall an excellent experience which we would repeat again

Great option for a self-guided tour of the Dry Creek River Valley. It was perfect for our mixed group of three. The two casual cyclists in my party appreciated the ease of use withe E-Bikes and Gio offered great service and explained how bikes worked.

I took out a Cervelo Soloist which was absolutely mint and thoroughly enjoyed the road cycling. There are handy Ride with GPS App Maps available for download which allow you to navigate several bicycle route options for those interested in self-guided touring options.

My family and I rented bikes and did a self-guided ride to a few wineries from the shop in Healdsburg. Great way to get out of the house in COVID times, while socially distancing. (Found some wineries doing outdoor tastings, and Lambert Bridge Winery that had a wonderful picnic service at their properly distanced, shaded picnic tables in the garden!)

The bikes all felt new, and way better than our bikes at home. Modern, light weight, with super smooth ride and great gears for the few hills we encountered. We did about 15 miles with our whining 20-something daughters (“It’s too hot!”), but the views and fresh air were worth it. Highly recommend! But next time we’ll leave the kids at home and do a longer ride.

Excellent service, with a nice map and recommendations for wineries to stop at.

We rented 4 bikes for 3 days while we stayed on West Dry Creek Road, where the riding was fun and safe: quiet, relatively flat, great wineries. Getaway Adventures dropped off the bikes at the beginning and picked them up at the end, and their service and advice was great. And the bikes were in good condition. Can't wait to do it again.

Our bike tour with Rafael was wonderful! The two wineries were lovely, with Quivira Vineyards featuring an incredible garden full of fresh fruits and veggies, and Martorana Family Winery offering an amazing cave experience where we got to see first hand some of the work that goes into making the wines we tried. Our lunch was another highlight, where Rafael chopped and mixed some fresh vegetables that he picked by hand earlier that day. We were lucky to book our tour on a quiet day, and it was great getting to know Rafael and some of the wine industry folks we interacted with throughout the day. Lastly, the biking itself was a ton of fun. It felt like we earned all of the food and wine, without feeling too strained and out of breath. Overall, an awesome experience that we’d recommend to anyway looking for a fun, active twist to your typical day in wine country.
