We received three referrals from other wineries and restaurants to try Williamson Wines. We were so excited to try their wines and sample yummy cheese.
The service was horrible! I reserved the tasting with cheese pairing. All my information was taken in advance over the phone and my credit card was charged before we arrived. Our server did not offer or share any information about the cheese pairings until I inquired during the second tasting. The cheese samples were tiny, but the upsell for the spices and wine was HUGE! Very pushy upsell to join the exclusive wine club and we felt very rushed to make a decision to join and then leave. So disappointed!

I have been coming here for very many years, tastings have always been free, which I liked, because the wines are great and I have purchased a lot of wine here, this visit, I bought close to $500 of wines, and was so disappointed that they charged me a $25 tasting fee. How petty! They do not need my $25 dollars, I felt used and unappreciated. I think this is disrespectful for clients spending the kind of money I did.
So many wineries comp the wine tasting with purchase, a lot for one bottle purchased.
I won't be back, I feel used by a winemaker who does not appreciate his clients !

My friend and I have been to this wonderful wine tasting spot before, but this was the first time we experienced it as part of a food and wine walking tour. We had a wonderful time tasting the delicious foods that had been paired with their amazing wines. This place really has to be our favorite of wine tasting spots in Healdsburg. Definitely plan to take your time here as the pairings and information they provide leading up to them will be well worth the savoring. Give George a special hello for us!

We had a wonderful wine and cheese pairing at this tasting room. With reservation only we enjoyed 5 wine samples paired with cheeses accompanied by jams, salts, and spices. This was a fun and entertaining way to learn about pairings and sample some very good wines. Our host, Peter, was engaging and knowledgeable. Definitely a highlight of a trip to Healdsburg.

I had an amazing pairing experience with this food and wine tasting. The wines are of superb quality dry like I like them and they have many wine varieties that pair perfect with seafood or meats. The service is amazing, the place nice and the wines fantastic. I would definitely do it again if I happen to be around the area again. Thx much!!

This has to have been one of the highlights of our week in Sonoma. The free wine and cheese pairings were simply amazing. We were quite impressed with the wines. We were also surprised to be served by the owner, who was very warm and welcoming. The recipes provided online paired with specific foods are something I will be looking forward to. Salud

We are a 50/60s couple that visit Napa/Sonoma wine country annually and have had many different tasting experiences at MANY different wineries. This was one of the best and absolutely the most unique. We first came in on a Monday afternoon and were served by Sarah, a very friendly and knowledgeable server. We prefer white, sparkling, and sweet wines and were at first disappointed that they didn't have anything sweet, but it didn't take long for us to realize that this visit was going to move us happily into tasting wines differently and enjoying the experience much more. We sat for 4 tasting, beginning with a wonderful Chantilly Chardonnay that we thoroughly enjoyed. This Chardonnay was free of the heavy oak flavor so we had grown accustomed to when tasting in this region. When paired the cheese and sweet beet and horseradish sauce provided the wonderful flavor of both the food and wine were enhanced, and we were hooked. Three other courses followed, this was called the "fridge foods and fine wines" tasting. I should add that there was no charge for this tasting of both food and wine. We decided to come back the next day and Sarah helped us redeem our Groupon coupon and schedule us an appointment for the next day at noon. We were introduced to our server for the next day, George, and he heartily welcomed us and assured that when we retuened the following day we would be tasting 6 foods paired perfectly with six wines and no lunch would be needed as this would be more than enough to satisfy. George was correct. The tasting was amazing, both food and wine that were paired perfectly together, and the exceptional service and attention given us by George. We talked with him about our tastes and previous experience with various wines. I have to admit we were both hesitant to try the "big reds" we had so long ago written off our list of favorites due to their heavy tanin tastes, and they dryness they always left after tasting. In the past the first thing we always did was reach for a bottle of cold water after tasting these type wines. Thanks to the fine winemaker at Williamson Wines and George's enthusiastic sharing of his knowledge of their wines and food we ventured through some beautiful Chardonnay, Viognier, and eventually all the way up to the "big red" Seduce Cabernet Sauvignon. We were pleasantly surprised that we both not only enjoyed each wine, but loved each wine. I can't really say enough good things about this wonderful experience. We joined the wine club and look forward to visiting on "pick-up days" to try even more wines and perfect food pairings. I highly recommend stopping in Healdsburg for a visit to Williamson Wines Tasting room, and thank both Sarah and George for wonderful tasting experiences, you won't be disappointed!

We visit Sonoma annually and shop our wines for the year as we have fallen in love with the wine and people in this area.. On our last day in 2012, we found the Williamson tasting room and wished we had found it sooner. The wines and pairings were outstanding, the passion and pride of the family members doing the tasting added to the experience. We have returned twice on this visit and have walked out without tasting or buying. We visited on Thursday and other than someone suggesting we move to the other side of the table because they were moving and stacking boxes near our table, no one approached us again, and we left after 20 minutes. We returned Saturday afternoon and worse than being ignored, we were chastised by one young man serving tables. He interrupted his presentation at a table to tell us to move back into the lobby the empty uncleared table in that room was reserved. We waited with other people only to be asked if we had an appointment and to be told how busy they were. Others (without appointments) were seated or directed to a place for tasting quickly (especially a group of young ladies!). Sadly we won't be adding Williamson to our wine clubs this year. Last year was such a joy and this year left a horrible taste on the proverbial palette!

They have many different wines available for tasting and purchase. Each has different specifics as to the composition and location of the source grapes. The tasting menus change and each wine was well explained to us when we were there. If you are in Healdsburg you should check it out.
