I went to visit their estate with clients. They first got a bottle of wine to have with their lunch. After they went on the tour and tasted the wines. They said overall it was nice, and the wines where nice, but they did not buy, and here is why. They charged a $40 fee for each person, but they... More

Hi James, I'm Jim, we spoke about your love of red and your girlfriend's love of Chardonnay during your visit. At our tasting room we waive each tasting fee for a $75 dollar purchase. At the Ranch and Winery we have an extensive tour of our organic gardens & vineyard, a tour of the winery with tank and barrel tasting,... More

Our friends who have a home in Sonoma took us here. We were greeted by Chelsea who encouraged us to have the wine tasting (Artisan Cheese & Wine Pairing) with cheeses and citrus marmalade (made by the winery). We took her advice and were not disappointed. We had four locally made cheeses and the marmalade on a cracker paired with... More

We enjoyed our walk and tour of the Ranch given by Laney. The story of how Medlock Ames started was told with great humor and admiration. Our group loved the way this winery integrated their operations into natural environment and habitats. The tasting itself was good. There were a couple of wines that stood out from the rest. One of... More

Our friends are members of this Winery's wine club and brought us here for a tasting. They offer a tasting combined with cheese and the pairings were very well chosen. The tasting rooms are in a lovely setting and we sat outside looking at the roof of vines and admiring the "country garden". A friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Server really... More

This place used to be an old country store about 15 years ago. It was purchased and rebuilt by Medlock-Ames about 9 or 10 years back, and made into a wine tasting place, just down the road from Jimtown. The structure is high class and has good quality designed in to how it is set. They have the removable 'walls'... More

We were on our way to another winery tour and found this place along the way. Very pleased to learn all about their organic and sustainable farming practices. To top it off, their wines are extremely good and we decided to become members. We're looking forward to visiting again and touring the farm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tasting and visit at Medlock Ames winery . The seated tasting format is fun and the wines were very well crafted. Shipped home a case and a half.

I had a wonderful wine and cheese paring that was very cost effective. The service was great and the young ladies working here were very attentive. The wine selection on the tasting was great and and their is a nice patio/garden area out back. I would definitely recommend this stop on your next wine tasting tour.

If you go on one winery tour in your life, this should be it. Simply amazing. Situated on a gorgeous property hidden up a dirt mountain road, Medlock Ames is a wine lovers paradise. We were given a private tour and tasting hosted by Lainey, a friendly, down to earth and knowledgable tour guide with a passion for wine. After... More

Great setting for wine tasting. They pair their wines with bites of food that shows off their wines. The setting is comfortable and pleasant. Great staff that knows their product. We joined the club!
