One of the best cabs ever
Jul 2021
This place is excellent! We did the Ultimate Tasting with owner Liam. All the wines were amazing. The Syrah and Petite Sirah were excellent and the Millennium Cab was one of the best Cabs we've ever had. Our dogs were welcome with us in the tasting room and we had a great time. Best winery we visited on our trip.

Best ever!

Quite simply the best winery you will ever visit. My recommendation is to visit all the vineyards your heart desires and then come here last to be blown away. Having been to dozens of wineries in and around Napa/Sonoma, Christopher Creek is head and shoulders above the rest and I'm not sure 2nd place is that close. Typically, when tasting, we will like a portion of the varietals offered; not the case at Christopher Creek... we like them ALL! Highly recommend!

Fantastic, relaxed, delicious and comprehensive wine tasting
Sep 2020 • Couples
We had an itinerary all set for our trip that my parents arranged, but due to the fires it was canceled. Last minute, our wine tour driver found this gem for us. They took us in and Mitch was amazing. We had a 2 hour tour, so many delicious wines, learned so much about the winery and decided to join their wine club family. Gorgeous views despite the smoke. Very relaxed, individualized and fun! Highly recommended!!

First and Last Visit

In the time of Covid-19, Sonoma County has allowed outdoor tastings at local wineries. We've been to a number of them and have experienced diligent efforts to sanitize tables, space out customers to ensure proper distancing and ensure all staff properly wear masks. When we went to Christopher Creek this past weekend, we found none of this. First, they do have good wines. But, they do not seem to be taking the needed precautions seriously. Upon arrival for our appointment, they did not have a table set up for us. They identified one that had been used as part of a celebration from an adjoining table and proceeded to clean it with a glass cleaner, not an alcohol or chlorine based cleanser. Several people were seated in the pool drinking wine from glasses. Our server had trouble keeping his mask covering both his mouth and nose. As we were leaving and waiting outside the tasting room for the wine we purchased, several men came out of the tasting room, none wearing masks. An obvious acquaintance walked up to them and they all hugged and shook hands and began talking about the upcoming Republican convention. None were wearing masks. Watching the scene at the tasting area they have set up by the pool and watching staff interact with guests, it seems they have more of a party atmosphere than an organization interested in premium wines. So, if you're looking for a party and ineffective or no masks in the time of Covid. This is your spot.

If you don't go it will leave more for me

Great tasting with Liam. Delicious wines with the concept of actual futures (who knew). Great atmosphere tasting in the barrel room (ladies bring a coat or sweater). I did not taste a wine that I did not enjoy. The Anderson valley pinot was my favorite.
Very highly recommended

Hidden Gem!

This is a winery everyone will love and where I send all of the guest who stay at the vacation rental that I manage near by. I became a wine member the first day I visited because the people were so nice and the wine is out of this world! I am so glad I stumbled upon it by accident because it is hands down one of the best wineries I have ever been to!

If you want great wine in a relaxed atmosphere -- this is the place! Yes it's small, but they have over 40 types of wine. And wines that range from $35 to $300/bottle. The tasting pours are generous and you're sure to get a couple of really good ones that aren't on the menu -- to suite your taste whatever that might be. But the best is just the vibe -- so friendly and accommodating -- was a really nice day so they set us up in the sun outside overlooking some of the vineyards and we were just sooooooooo relaxed. Highly recommended!

Small and friendly

We wanted to visit a small winery in the region and we were very pleased. Many different kinds of wine can be tasted, all very good. Friendly welcome by Mitch.

Lacked Hospitality and Knowledge
Jul 2019 • Couples
They have a nice area for members with tables next to a pool overlooking a small valley of grapes. As a non-member, you can taste at a small bar or at two picnic tables. We chose the picnic tables.

Our tasting featured some average wine. Our server had very little if anything to share about the wine, the winery, or wine club. When we asked about the grapes used in the meritage, she had to go ask. When we asked another person about the surrounding wine crop that bordered the property, he had to go ask.

There are far better places to visit. Don’t bother with this place.

rustic, plentiful wines w/ super friendly service
May 2019
We stayed at the residence at CC, which is a a little rough around the edges, but very large and comfy with LOTS to do--full kitchen, pool table, music and lotsa TV's and viewing areas. Aspects need updating, which we gave feedback. Had a GREAT time and received VIP service by owner Liam.
A delightful tasting experience in their barrel room with 47! wines, which most places could never pull off or the wines would be poor quality. Just the opposite--very well made Pinots, Syrah blend, Cab, Zin etc. etc. Talented wine maker and super friendly owner Liam!
As two couples we walked away with large purchases of many of the wines (would've bought more, but we have the first world problem of having too many wines at home already). Definitely, a must experience for TRUE wine lovers who don't need fancy tastings or food pairings!
