At least one out of three of us was happy with our massages last weekend. The other two of us weren't so lucky. I could go into detail however not sure it all really matters, besides the fact that the massages were not good and when I reached out to management their solution to the problem was to offer us a discount to come back. Not really feeling like spending more money on a massage that stunk the first time.…

We were staying at a sister hotel in Healdsburg which refers its guests to this hotel’s spa. Making the appointments was very easy—I made the request via e-mail about 2 weeks before our trip, and received very quick responses to each inquiry. I scheduled a facial and a massage for myself and a massage for my husband as well. We travel a lot, and I typically schedule these services upon each trip. The treatments by all three were outstanding! Neither of us had anything other than rave reviews about the treatments and service providers. I am only taking a star away from this review because of the facilities. The treatment rooms were comfortable and quiet, and the shower has lockable showers and towels. However, there is only one shower in the ladies room for use after a treatment. It’s in the back of the room so it’s the first thing you see when you enter. That means that I had to disrobe outside the shower in front of everyone (wasn’t going to happen, I waited for everyone to leave), hang my towel and my robe on the hook outside the door, then step in. Likewise, upon exiting the shower, I had to open the door and be naked in front of anyone in there to grab my robe and towel. I’m not understanding that particular design choice. I went from being totally relaxed and luxuriating to being stressed and self-conscious upon realizing I was greasy from the massage oils and had no option but to be naked as a jay bird in front of anyone else who might be there. I don’t mind changing clothes in a locker room, but I don’t want to be naked from head to toe in public if I don’t have to! There should be at least 2 shower stalls that have a more discreet entrance/exit like most day spas. The toiletries available post shower did not include deodorant or lotion, and there was no hair combs left. My assumption was that most people using this spa are staying at the hotel and would just go back to their rooms to shower. But for those of us not staying there, it was rather awkward. Other spas in this area have much nicer facilities (the El Dorado in Napa is still my favorite in this region), but the treatments themselves are worth a visit if you’re in the square. …

We came for a work off-site so this was mostly business but hotel was so accommodating and the extras were non stop. The rooms were so "Zen" and beds were so comfy. Great bath tubs and so many extras everywhere you looked. I am coming back with my husband no doubt.
