Great place for quiet meditation. Portions are very old. Tree cut in form of praying hands. Has a mausoleum. Great staff to work with. Very good layout to find a grave site.

Lone Tree Cemetery was established in 1868 and continues to serve as a burial ground today. It is a peaceful setting in the hills with a distant view of San Francisco. There are wild life in the area.
Its a place to pay one's respects to those who have passed on.
One day a year there is a community event on Memorial Day in the ampitheater which we attended. There is generally talks by local elected officials, a fighter jet flyover, followed by a barbecue hosted by the cemetery and local scout troops.

My wife is buried there. They do a very good job keeping the cemetery up. The cemetery is in the Hayward Hills with a very nice views. It is not flat land, it has small rolling hills which I like.
I couldn't finish this without marking what sore of visit was this but no real good choice. I picked Solo

This cemetery is very old, has interesting grave sites and is the final resting place of many local people of fame. It is well taken care of, ever expanding, has a variety of religions and nationality sections.
I often walk here for exercise in a peaceful location with limited cars.

Lone Tree is in my neighborhood and many people walk there. It has a very relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Have friends buried there as well. There are areas that have great views of The Bay Area.

So it's a place of rest in the hills in this suburb. It can be a very green space for those who seek some nature. But it is indeed a cemetery.

We paid our respects at Lone Tree Cemetery. The cemetery has been in Hayward since 1868. It is 42 acres. It holds one of the oldest continuous Memorial day celebrations in Alameda county.

A solemn and peaceful resting place for generations of residents. A sprawling local cemetery that is a non-profit organization that allows for more funds to be utilized for the maintenance and care of this park-like setting. A peaceful place to reflect.

I have been to the Lone Tree Cemetery almost every year for the past five years. The ceremony is well done. The Sea Cadets that were there were very helpful and looked very sharp.

A wonderful step out of the busy neighborhoods to reflect on one's life and the history of those interred there.
