Definitely worth pulling off the freeway for a visit to the quaint town of Harmony! The glassworks was my favorite part! It was fascinating to watch glass being heated and blown. They had a colorful variety of beautiful glass art pieces for purchase ranging from magical chimes to dragon sculptures to enchanting jewelry. We'll definitely return!

My husband and I completed the two-person, one-piece glassblowing class. Our instructor, Nate, was great! He did a great job of explaining what was going on, directing us, and offering feedback. We loved our experience and have a great glass bowl to take away from it. We'd highly recommend this class!

Customer service guy was not great. They do not make much of the glassworks there, but they do make a few things. It was a nice little side trip

My best friend and I did 2 classes back to back and Nate had his heart in our projects and learning the whole time. He worked hard to teach and guide us and the results were 2 absolutely beautiful bowls (I only have the photo of my own below) plus new knowledge and learning. The charming town of Harmony, the dedication to the arts and learning the craft, plus the lovely folks everywhere in town made for an unforgettable experience. Whether just visiting to look at beautiful glass of many genres, shopping, or being a glass working student, you will not be disappointed. Just lovely! It's not just a town, but a community of real artists who want to share their love and skill with all. Thank you, Nate and Harmony Glassworks!

This place is filled with beautiful works of art! And, they also have more modestly priced items such as earrings and bracelets. Plan on spending at least 30-40 minutes browsing. I would not recommend visiting with children. But, a local ice cream truck parks outside. 😋

My sister collects blown glass and is fascinated with the whole process, as is my husband, so on our way from Hearst Castle down the California coast to Cayucos we went out of our way to visit Harmony Glassworks, in the darling little hamlet of Harmony. They had a huge selection of beautiful but, in our opinion over priced things. There were three young men working in the shop and three of us, no one greeted us, asked us if they could help, or even a hello. Very disappointing, we won't go out of our way again.😢

What a joyful expression of creativity and artistry! Learn how to take molten glass onto a long rod (imagine a giant Q-Tip!!), form it, shape it, imbue it with colors that you select, then blow it into a shape and suddenly you have a bowl! WOW - that's what I call Transformation! Harmony Glass Works is the perfect place to step beyond what you think is possible and create something of lasting beauty. Nate was a great instructor. He went through the process, answering my questions along the way and then guided me as we went through the actual creation of my bowl. I'm a newbie to glass blowing and he is an expert who knows how to guide, challenge and celebrate the accomplishment of a new student. Treat yourself to an experience that will deLIGHT and InSpire you.

And if you don't have time or desire to actually blow glass, visit The Gallery. It's filled with gorgeous pieces at every price range that will adorn your home or office or a gift to share. True artistry!

The glassworks sparkle in Harmony Glassworks like the little hidden gem that is this business of talented glass artisans. We purchased glass pieces and enjoyed the conversation with the artists.
Population of 67, Harmony is a stop that is a must on your way to or from Cambria.
