Relaxing place to spend the day. Very clean and beautiful views. Further north you may be able to see whales feeding. Biking and horse trails nearby. Many campgrounds for tents, rvs available. Weather on the cooler side with fog in the am and comes in quickly. Bathrooms nearby, picnic benches and state park rangers at parking lot.

We started our hike here. The attendant at the entrance was very helpful. Had a map and pointed us in the right direction.

There is a $10 parking fee, lots of table and great ocean views with easy beach access. Restrooms available and crowded on weekends, especially sunny ones. Lots of trash left behind by visitors-Too bad. You can park a few blocks away in a neighborhood for free. There is also the coastal trail along the bluff for several miles, which is... More

It was cold and windy, but the beauty made up for it. When it rained, we stayed inside the motorhome and still could see the waves and beauty around us.

This is my absolute favorite beach in Norhtern California. I love the fact you can avoid a parking fee by just parking on the street. I love the seclusion I get with the beach and cliffs. I love that no matter what time of day or time of year it's never too crowded. I don't go in the water so... More

Definitely the main beach of Half Moon Bay. Great camping, great views, and directly connected to the Coast-side Trail (7 miles total length of paved or mostly paved walking and biking trails - oceanfront). Beautiful views, very clean, very safe, very fun.

We've been camping here off and on for over 6 years, and the facilities are clean (hot showers, flush toilets) and serviced daily. The beach is just over the rise, and the ocean breeze makes for a cool (if not cold) night's camping. There are dog-friendly beaches just south of the facility, so a short walk lets you let doggie...
