It's pretty and lovely enough for sand play. Not the best for playing in the water or tide pools. Super easy walking access (almost no slope) from small fee-require parking lot. Portapotties in parking lot.

This is an imposing coastline, rocky outcrops and thundering waves, a wild place. The cliffs are covered in very colourful vegetation and make a great photo opportunity. Feel the wind in your face and watch the ocean pounding the beach.

This park and overlook does not require a fee and is a lovely place to relax and watch birds and seals and listen to the ocean

This is a great coastal destination, just south of Half Moon Bay. Easy parking, quick access to the sand, water and rocks. Great for walking, exploring, and relaxing. Clean restrooms are easily accessible nearby.

We spent half a day here on a Thursday & hardly anyone was there! Waves were a little too rough for swimming, but there’s plenty of room for exploration. I was a little surprised by the $8 parking fee. Bring cash, it’s an old fashioned...More

One of our stops while traveling the Pacific Coast Highway. Beautiful drive getting here, fantastic views from the beach, would definitely recommend stopping by.

For me one of the best things is that the parking was free. If you drive nearer half moon bay, the beach parking will cost you $8 a day or there about. That’s fine if your spending the day, but way too much if your...More
