It is not well marked but it is well worth the stop to jump in the pool, or watch others dive in. Some nice hiking trails into the hills, too.

Rainbow pool is an easy access area with two swimming holes. You can jump off of a rock or slide down a waterfall into the lower pool. So much fun and such clear water.

Great gem close to Groveland. Lots of locals swim here and jump from the rocks. There's also a nice rock slide. Take your swimming shoes and enjoy a nice very cool dive! Great experience!

This is an amazingly beautiful spot not more than 2 minutes off highway 120. It is so easy to get to, it is almost a shame not to stop there on your way up to or back from Yosemite. The waters are deep and clear,...More

The actual pool area can get very busy, however, if you walk upstream a little there is no one and you can have a ton of fun in the water - the water has created sort of natural slides and whirlpools that are a ton...More

Day use area - creek and small falls. Hard to get to creek, quite a rocky pathway. Good amount of parking.

We didn’t get down to the water, pretty steep for us older people. But the falls and pools were georgous. If u are young, GO!! Picnic tables, bbqs and steps.

A picturesque little spot to stop and cool off on your way to Yosemite. If you're going to go, be sure it's on your trip to Yosemite and not from. After seeing the falls in Yosemite Valley, these won't seem quite as impressive.

If you weren’t paying attention you’d drive past this gem. Ample parking easy access to falls. Be careful though. Water is running fast and the current is strong. Kids were jumping off the rocks. Worth the stop

Rainbow pools is outside of the main gate into Yosemite. I know that Yosemite has been closed for two weeks while they gain control of the fire. Last I heard it was 42 percent contained. I don’t see them opening the park... More

The waterfall is within a stones throw from the car park, but if you arrive later in the morning, you will have to park further away. We parked about 5 minutes away. Easy with tarred road to the falls.
