We have visited Yosemite Cellars many times and we feel others should begin to enjoy their marvelous Sierra Foothills wines.
Cheryl and Ron Harms are the owners of this Boutique Winery and the view from their vineyard overlooks the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains,
All their wines are made from the vineyard lovingly tended by the owners and they are fast becoming a favorite in the community and beyond.
Our favorites are the Rose made from the Grenache grapes and their specialty Tannat. We also enjoy the Syrah and Firefall, a blend made from Tannat, Syrah and Grenache
Tasting is on Saturdays from 12.00 until 5.00pm and the tasting is usually done on the patio of their beautiful Sierra Foothills home.
The Harms are gracious people who welcome visitors and are willing to share their experiences with those who come to taste.
This is a fun and most enjoyable afternoon's entertainment and the wine is really good.

Thanks for your kind words. As much as the creation of Rim Fire Red was the result of a terrible natural disaster, we appreciate the many folks who have been huge supporters of RFR. There are only 10 cases remaining! Hope to see you again.

Ok, you might need an actual map, leave the smart phone, the big city, and all you cares behind and make this number one on your list when in the area. Our hosts and winery owners made us feel right at home. Not your stuffy stand in line wine tasting, but real people with really good wine, sitting outside with a wonderful view of the surrounding area. Ron was a great host, wonderful person, that really cares about his wines, and making us feel special during our visit. This winery will not fit your Napa Valley visits, and we where glad. Good people, great wines, and a relaxing day was had by all.

Cheryl and Ron hosted with a wonderful blend of details about their wines, and personal journey to develop Yosemite Cellars. It felt more like visiting some friends over some wine. The views were a bonus. Oh, and their wines are fantastic!

As previously mentioned by others, this is a fantastic hidden gem outside of Groveland! Owners Ron and Cheryl were SUPER welcoming upon arrival and we thoroughly enjoyed their story on how Yosemite Cellars came to be. We've gotten very used to our local Livermore and Napa Valley wines over the years, and for us this winery ranks right up there. Very relaxing and a great piece of property! The Syrah and Rim Fire Red wines were very bold and complex. We will be back soon!

I highly recommend Yosemite Cellars. It's a beautiful winery located miles within Groveland, CA and Pine Mountain Lake. They have a great selection of wine and the patio area is very relaxing. Ron and Cheryl were extremely nice and passionate about their wine. They even allowed Max our dog to hangout as well.

Fantastic experience enjoying wonderful wines and hosted by Ron and Cheryl who made our tasting not only enjoyable but educational. I have been 3 times this year bringing new friends with us each time. Everyone agreed that this experience was one of the best they have ever experienced! Watch out Napa, they are far superior to anything I have tasted at any other winery! Thank you Chery and Ron!

This small lot winery has beautiful grounds and the owners will make you feel welcome. Cheryl and Ron gave personal stories of their wine making journey. They also gave us a plate of crackers and cheese to enjoy with our tasting.
Bring a picnic lunch and sit outside with a view of the vineyard of the foothills. Our two favorites were the Tannat and Grenache but all the wines were good.

Back roads, beautiful drive, small winery, exceptional service!

We enjoyed generous pours of their 5 wines, and all were delicious! the owners poured the wine, and shared the wine history, wonderful day.

We ended up with 2 cases of wonderful wine, can't wait to open the first.

Worth the detour if you are on your way to Yosemite, and a great activity if your are staying in Groveland or PML.
